I'll try to see if I can bring my consoles over, because MvC2 and Tatsunoko needs some love. One or the other, though.

Bring tatsunoko, as i said mvc2 was there last sweat plus i know ppl that have it, but i dont know ANYONE with tatsunoko, but you wouldnt have to bring ur wii, since we have 2, i have a feelings i'll be in need of either xtra 360's or ps3's, but how many exactly im uncertain, should know by tomorrow.

TRying to make the next one uber, tho the problem is basically figuring out in my mind how exactly i want it all done. DDR will be taking a backseat probably again, but i may bring out rock band in full flush this time, instead of mixing it with the ssf4 promo.

I'm most likely working with 2 projectors and 5 widescreens, and a monitor.

We should have one hi end pc (there goes the monitor) and 1 hi end laptop(that thing ridic) running 2-4 player emulators/game all day.

1 Screen for ps3 fighters (tekk6, mvc2,sf4) 1 screen for xbox fighters (ssf4, mvc2)

1 screen for the Wii, and even tho we have 2 we not not set up the next one, y because even with tatsunoko and Wii sports in the mix i dont think many people will play the Wii.

2 SCreens for what used to be the xbox shooters, will now be the ps3 shooters (providing blu_vice is willing to assist) otherwise it goes back to halo 3, and mw2 for 360.

1 Screen for fifa 10, xbox version seems more popular so we're going with that one

1Screen for Rock band, and probbaly som ssf4.

And thats 7 screens, technically 9 if u count the pc's (i do), problem: which ones deserves the projector?

PS. There will still be folks bringing laptops just to sweat unreal, dota etc, since wifi is available
PPS: Dammit what about my screen for showing vids

hmm, i see daemon trying hard to give console men a facility. They usually complain about under representation by GATT but now that an oppurtunity is here for them they are not taking it. If this was a pc only affair, it would be well attended and appreciated and console men would bitch about not being represented in the pc only affair.

Life Good yes.

I've been talking to some peeps and I think tournaments would be a good draw.

Takes a little more than a casual sweat to tear a gamer away from his 360/PS3/PC/Wii.

Got to add a lil edge. put someting on the line. Pride or Purse.

First off, we cant simpy expect that there will be entrants and go off sponsoring a tournaments jus so. Secondly its obviously way to close to this sunday to be saying that now. Third i'm starting to get worried about this sunday.

I mean is a lime, we have, games that Barely ANYONE have, we have good food good drinks, good vids, and friends. $40 adm is simply the result of even more people not coming. It could easily drop to half with support. This is a good idea, i don't think it needs tournaments yet to suceed.

As i keep saying i want to run tournaments i'd also like to start League play with local ranked matches and the whole works, but again atm the moment this is all still in WAITING.

Enough said. We not overchargin, and men getting the sweat they come for, i have recieved almost 0 complaints from the people that have attended, and that includes admission complaints, yet everyone seemed satisfied. The reason is because this isnt jsut some sweat, and sadly if certain people that keep posting here had actually come. They might know that as well. REgardless the next sweat will be epic i am running my blood to water to make it so.

tournaments = competition = draw.

Know what is the biggest game in the world? Football.
Know what is the biggest tournament in the world? World Cup
coincidence?

Like in sweat of old, it ain't have to be anything fancy....but just something to give men bragging rights. Champion of Godai.

Put a man on a pedestal so others could come and try kicking him off. lol

The good thing about a tournament is that you can have people sign up before the event. That way, you know what kind of turn out to expect on the day.

Even make a competition out of it. The tourney with the most participants get the grandest prize. Be that a $1000.00, Free drinks, a date with a hot chick....whatever.

That way, men will want to spread the word themselves to get even more players coming out for their game of choice.

Great for building momentum.

This tip is free, for the others, I'll charge. lol

Well, is interesting as that factoid is lol, might not have room for jude, maybe in de courtyard.

I've decided to consider mr.wyatt's requests but it reall wont having any impact on this sunday so no details on that for now, but i've decided to run at least one friendly for de day, most likely sf4 since that seems to have the biggest following in sweat.

excellent...they say a word to the wise is sufficient.

don't forget....PIX!

ps.....think on this...how is it, that a sport involving the same rules and same "map" can remain so popular after so many years? Why don't people get bored of playing the same old football week after week, decade after decade?

The answer is your answer.

Well the event is tomorrow everything is set, all the games will surprisingly be there even with the negligence o0f certain gatters whom like to suggest games but not follow through. I suddenly feel to switch back to xbox 360 shoots but never the less i've acquired quite a few ps3 shooters so they will be run.

Place should be good to go from 3pm tomorrow, i HIGHLY SUGGEST people to come EARLY this time and not wait till after 8. See you all there

I was talking about the Facebook page for the event. I made a couple of comments (one of which was as recent as the day before yesterday) which confirmed that I was coming.

On a side note, I know you're a bit miffed about some of the GATTers pulling a no-show a couple of weeks ago (trust me, that's why I put a small rant up there for all to see) but please don't be snippy about it. A few of us are actually quite serious about pushing gaming forward, including myself. Needless to say, I'm not terribly fond of being doubted, as if I'm going to promise X,Y and Zed and no-show the thing. I'll be there, and I've even talked to a couple of friends about it as well (though I can't confirm them for sure.)

Everything is set for tomorrow even without mr blu vice, haha

I hope to see everyone tomorrow anytime after 3pm.

Our only new issue is tables due to the increase in screens to 9...if someone brings a table thatd be really cool.

Also if anyone would to bring something and get thier entrance fee waved talk to me, more screens always good. Its gona be epic.

I'll be there. I would like to assist in anyway as well. I can bring my 360 if one is needed as well as a monitor (21" unfortunately) if need be. If you have WiFi at the venue then I can log on so gamers there can experience a taste of the Halo REACH multiplayer BETA. I have no external audio system please note. So let me know how can I assist.

I was there for the first one, missed the second so eager to see what will be there for the third.
