Games For Windows Live. HELP!

Yesterday got some trouble to connect to GFWL but after 2 tries got to connect, all was good, later on decided to play some dirt 2 with Notnice(he got in to gfwl) and got this:



I used SF4 just because it was easier to run, but the same thing is happening with Dirt2 and all other GFWL games I have, has this happened to anyone else, and if so do you know how to fix it.
I just dloaded Messenger to see if I could connect with it and it also is not connecting.

check IE settings to make sure you not using a proxy or sum, all the live software (afaik) use IE settings to connect to the internet

I know for sure that I am not using a proxy, had hamachi and tungle at one point but already un-installed those programs, I dont understand this it was working properly early friday morning, by evening time I was getting this trouble.  In the past my messenger has gone down for extended periods of time but really didnt expect that GFWL would be affected by these kinda conditions.

use revo uninstaller and uninstall the live apps, remember to use the regkey cleaner part of it by using the advanced option for uninstalling, then get rid of the stragler files too, reboot, reinstall, reboot again

im willing to bet you did a reinstall already but this pretty much nukes all traces of the app that the system can see

worth a shot, has helped before with situations like this for me (namely WLM)

if your system/router rebooted recently you may have gotten a new IP and the ports that were forwarded to your system for live won't go to the right IP so you can check that too to see if that's the clulprit (had this happen also with games)

Well Nephilim it didnt work, but one good thing is that program real bad, will use it from now on.  It found all of the windows messenger files and as you said nuked the hell outta them.

Messiah it is Win7 64.

using same os as I, i haven't used gfwl much (steam ftw), but i have to install it anyway for Bioshock 2 so ill install it now and see if it works without forwarding.

had you tried to forward the ports?

Well Dirt 2 has its own key.

Well after much googling it turns out that the problem was that my date and time was wrong and that caused me not to be able to login.
