New Photoshop feature being worked on.

I saw this video on a new Photoshop feature called "Content-Aware Fill" Now the images used probably were selected as they work well with the feature and would look good in a demo. It is still pretty impressive and could save alot of time when working on various projects. I'm not a Photoshop expert but this impressed me.

I really haven't checked out the photoshop stuff much although I use it daily, the after effects stuff to me is amazing.



there was a older video with real time motion tracking it was pretty jaw dropping to me.

Photoshop really full of win yes. Had no idea Photoshop was turning into such a competent video editing tool.

that Content-Aware Fill is one of the most amazing things i've ever seen photoshop do.

removal of shakey videos = win
removal of reflections on videos = WIN
object removal = EPIC WIN

those features go be used plenty by d average user who takes lots of videos/photos etc.
hope dey make it easy to use, i eh wah be teaching d wife how to do something everyminute. lol

Indeed it is good to see Photoshop bring features that even the beginner/intermediate user can benefit from. I was a bit concerned about the software bringing in these "auto fix" features but I don't that is really an issue. These tools are highly configurable and anything that saves time with good results must be a good thing.

Autofix has it's drawbacks...like more photoshop noobs making graphic designers fan pages on facebook!

After Effects is a standalone program used by video compositors, although now photoshop does have video editing capability as well.

I use After Effects for motion graphics everyday and as much as they might put video editing features in Photoshop I don't think it will ever replace Premiere or After Effects.

So playing around with CS5 content aware fill right now and its not as good as they made it look in that video. Will continue testing with various images for a bit.

This is nice...I used the CS5 version of Illustrator and it's nice so far...but this Photoshop feat is really impressive..sigh...and I only used CS4 for 5 months jed...this program came out of nowhere jed lol
