So the final remnant of my former beast is now up for sale.

If you remember, its a Diamond ATI Radeon HD4870X2.  Looks exactly like this...

...and you've seen what it can do with the right hardware.

Purchased brand new from Amazon in September 2008
OC'ed for benchmarking and testing, otherwise run at stock.

Asking price: $2200.00  $1700.00  (still slightly negotiable).

I ain't buy it over yours if that's what you're wondering.

It's a great card but them fellas keep fighting me down to go 5 series with the upgrade and there is a wisdom to a crowd. Especially when that crowd is a bunch of tech gurus on GATT. lol

Maybe if I could test it and see how it performs with my stock 3ghz dual core. Or anyone have a benchmark showing what this card does on vantage with a stock 3ghz dual core?

LOL...simma down now.  This aint have nothing to do with you.  It was actually prompted by other factors.

Looking at it from another angle, and coupled with the fact there's cheaper, and slightly better performing
cards out there now, I couldn't play hardball and still demand 2K+ for it, so a small price drop was necessary.

I'm also trying to capitalize on the fact that its already out of my system, in box, ready for sale right now.
