Anyone else really amped for this?

Same guys who brought us the greatest war miniseries ever - Band of Brothers (Spielberg, Hanks) now bring us this new 10-part miniseries, based on the Pacific Theater of Operations.

First episode airs this Sunday night =]

after viewing the first 2 episodes I can now say that this series will sit comfortably with my Band of Brothers DVD tin case on my shelf. IMHO this show is a worthy sequel to BoB.

Iv been watching the series in 720p so far its pretty good , a different feel from band of brothers but a good successor , you can get it off torrents and a certain Warez Bulletin Board (BB) . org

yeah man part 5 was intense as hell...reminded me of Saving Private Ryan's opening scene...the tracer fire could have been more realistic looking though...but the sound and gritty camera work made up for it.
ANybody watched episode 7? I "acquired" it...but didn't check it yet

I just watched it and......................words cannot describe how much emotions were shown in that one episode and one person's spirit was broken. Flip someone important to Eugene's mortar crew gets it from a sniper and well.............I dont know what else to say.

lol damn you reaper...now after I finish my two jobs...and my homework for school...I hadda haul ass to watch both episodes six and seven lol....but small ting yes the show real bad...better than spatacus in my opinion...
