Ago...that's actually the new F-35 Lightning II....the Marine (AV8-B) Harrier's replacement.

MADD props to DICE for including it...complete with hover function.  :happy0203:

i think im at the point where im gonna purchase a new vid card for my pc and battlefield 3 pc with an xbox controller for windows. The console thing aint cuttin it.

Currently looking into some upgrade options at the moment

Hm PS3 version very playable. It hard but not as hardcore as PC tho. i could only imagine the epicness on PC. Not sure wats goin on with the xbox360 version.

Nothing is wrong with the game on the 360, just the monumental lack of teamwork is getting on my nerves.
Example one match where the whole damn team is playing as snipers except for like 2 guys on damavand peak, and no one is trying to go plant the bomb...that's the kind of shit i go tru unless i play wit ppl i know

That CPU will bottle neck the GPU a lot. It'll play but you won't enjoy it nor will it run smoothly on anything past low-medium. Safest bet is to use an x4 or an i5. The GPU and 6 gigs of ram are gtg tho.

Essentially yea... The 6gb of ddr2 is fine tho. The board should be able to take an AMD x4 no? Because if it can, that may be the only thing alongside the gpu that u need to upgrade. I know Emperor Xavier is running an x4 and a 560 ti and it runs good for him

It apparently can take an x4 but its marked up as "beta" so im not sure what that means. There's a tab marked "CPU Support List" on that very same link =p

Maybe you should look at building a new system. If you can of course. Might be better for you in the long run.

I think those specs would do just fine.

Try it, yuh might like it.

I'm playing the game on a Dual Core 3ghz with a 550TI.

Running it at 1920x1200 on low.

Your rig would be faster than mine. So you should be fine.

If it doesn't run as well as you like, THEN you can consider changing out the motherboard, processor and ram....but not before. (imo)

My advice would honestly be to build a decent rig that will be able to play more and better games and even run BF3 at what if should be run at. If you want now for now then grab the GPU and call it a day.

Mr. Wyatt doing the game a GREAT injustice and his copy should be revoked. Even playing the game at a res that his GPU clearly not handling it well (how many times did your game crash? 10+? The game didn't even want to install on your PC, what does that say? =p lolol)

The man coming from the Xbox. I don't think he wants to play the same game at an even lower quality than what he was originally playing at. At least i know i wouldn't. If the visuals don't matter then by all means.

The game worked absolutely flawlessly on my machine, without crashing once on any server outside of GATT.

So don't try that at all.

Like I said, his rig will be faster than mine (about 50% faster with a TI 560 vs the 550) so he should be fine.

IF....and that's a big IF....it doesn't run well, he can still upgrade his mobo and cpu then.

It's not like he has anything to lose.

1920x1200 res is probably higher than he will run it on his PC. Remember, I have a 26" monitor. Not sure what size monitor he has.

Either way, the xbox is like 640p - 720p. So any respectable PC resolution will already be a step up from that.

A dual core will severely bottle neck a 560 ti so you are NOT going to get the true performance the card can push with the CPU. Yes granted the game looks good even on low on the PC, it's still not enough. He will still suffer from framing and it honestly takes away from the experience of the game playing it on low.

Let's not even talk about loading times and crashes in between like what you were experiencing. Even Notnice and I experience longer loading times but thats only because we have 4 gigs of RAM.

well to be honest i ran the beta on this current pc wit my 9600gt and it didnt perform that badly i mean apart from some stuttering here and there, a few frozen frames, one or two hics anyway. I wasnt planning to go for a super rig like d ones i see some men here sporting, but if im upgrading im going bold one time

currently on my hitlist
phenom II X6
as recommended a gtx 560ti
between 8-12gb ram
and some fancy ass motherboard
