Downloaded the new patch and am happy to say that the stuttering that had me not wanting to play the game is gone, hallelujah.  Awesome stop tryin to push your PC ways upon the XBOX masses, TnT Ghost when I get my copy will be around to run some with you... hopefully.

One big thing I have to add, the XBOX controller is now fully supported, well it was supported before but now the rumble is available.  I was sweating some BF3 with NotNice this morning we jump in a tank and I am feeling my desk vibrating lo and behold is because I am being shot by a tank, this totally changes things for me in terms of flying jets as the vibration kicks in when you are shot at or shoot someone... GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES.

Sounds to me like you're having a lot of fun with the PC version there buddy, playing with a squad of men and controller support. So are you telling the gentleman to STAY AWAY from all that fun so you can have it all to yourself with the assurance that "HOPEFULLY" you will play with him one day??

Hmmmmm...

Wow... this is the first time that I do not have a comeback to anything Awesome has said.  But I will be playing BF3 on both 360 and pc so I can fall in anywhere.

Here we go:
1. A better party system that shows when the game is about to begin, easier to form squad (console does not have the luxury of battlelog like on PC)
2. Slow as molasses navigation of the dashboard when the game is at the HOME SCREEN? wha? why?
3. Part size of 4 (sorry I think 6-8 is the magic number for me)
4. Better starting weapons that are not so drastically UNDERpowered (the starting sniper is better WITHOUT THE SCOPE imagine that).
5. Better campaign with less overuse of night/contrast/point-light-sources)
6. Inter-squad communication (even xbl has a max of 10 in a party)
7. FAR too much camping and in certain maps spawn killing (console maps are smaller)
8. Less than 60FPS... this is a HUGE GRIPE of mine, I feel like I watching 24fps pal movie or something...
9. Installation process even on console was long and frustrating, it took me 45mins from first putting the disc into my xbox to ACTUALLY getting into a game... ORIGIN IS BALLS
10. Team ONLY game, playing solo is an exercise in frustration, even with a 3 man squad unless you're a vehicle and by vehicle I mean JET/Heli specialist, your squad will NOT be able to turn the tide, you are GOING TO LOSE
11. 50,000,000 candlewatt flashlight that 'realistically' can BLIND you in BROAD DAYLIGHT at 20+ feet away.... yeah... realism at its best
12. Sound quality is NOWHERE near the hype, Virtue mentioned even one of our very own BF3 gurus i'll call no names *cough Capn* said a man could walk up yuh back with a TANK and you'd barely notice. Sound is iffy, sometimes it works, most times i can't tell where the enemy is coming from despite having a 5.1 digital headset.
13. Did I mention origin is BALLS?

13. Did I mention origin is BALLS?

yea u did mention its balls
As far as sounds go i hav no probs i also use a 5.1 headset although what i did notice is that sometimes the sound cuts off or u get really muffled audio.
The party system well can't deny that one
The fps well i guess ur accustomed to faster paced games personally i just adapt no issues  there
The Gigawatt flashlights well i agree on that one u cud see that shit from space
Camping and spawn killing well im guilty of that **whistles**
I see some valid points but personally i just roll with it.
My only gripe well gripes are the LACK OF TEAMWORK and the royal C**TS who on kharg island swim to the carrier and camp our effin air vehicles they shud implement some system where u cannot enter the enemy base on ALL maps like seriously.
These days i jus find myself playing my rpg's or some other games I'm ashamed to say but my bf3 experience is being ruined.
I was gonna stand on bf3's defense but alot of those issues are getting to me also....

I say setup @ that longest headshot.

Win, I feel your pain but I must agree and disagree with some of your points. See my responses in red.

Here we go:
1. A better party system that shows when the game is about to begin, easier to form squad (console does not have the luxury of battlelog like on PC) Play on the PC
2. Slow as molasses navigation of the dashboard when the game is at the HOME SCREEN? wha? why? Play on the PC
3. Part size of 4 (sorry I think 6-8 is the magic number for me) Play on the PC
4. Better starting weapons that are not so drastically UNDERpowered (the starting sniper is better WITHOUT THE SCOPE imagine that). That's the point of unlocks right? Plus, it doesnt take a whole lot of kills to start unlocking the good stuff. No more than 100.

5. Better campaign with less overuse of night/contrast/point-light-sources) I'll give you this one. Cant comment since I havent touched campaign at all.
6. Inter-squad communication (even xbl has a max of 10 in a party) Play on the PC
7. FAR too much camping and in certain maps spawn killing (console maps are smaller) Really? A COD man complaining about camping? Remember, 90% of your cover is destructable

8. Less than 60FPS... this is a HUGE GRIPE of mine, I feel like I watching 24fps pal movie or something... Play on the PC
9. Installation process even on console was long and frustrating, it took me 45mins from first putting the disc into my xbox to ACTUALLY getting into a game... ORIGIN IS BALLS Play on the PC, Origin is not bad at all. Name one way in which it is worse than Steam.
10. Team ONLY game, playing solo is an exercise in frustration, even with a 3 man squad unless you're a vehicle and by vehicle I mean JET/Heli specialist, your squad will NOT be able to turn the tide, you are GOING TO LOSE Play on the PC AND there's TDM mode, just like in COD. How is that different?
11. 50,000,000 candlewatt flashlight that 'realistically' can BLIND you in BROAD DAYLIGHT at 20+ feet away.... yeah... realism at its best Yeah, that flashlight is balls. F**k, do something about that PLEASE dice!!
My only gripe with sound is hearing enemies approach on foot. Other than that, sound is outstanding. Tanks are clearly audible and that is me with a retarded internet chat wireless headset.
13. Did I mention origin is BALLS? Do you hate it because it ISNT steam?

Don't want to sound like the 'elitist' that I'm often made out to be, but I'll have to agree wholeheartedly with Cap here.

W1nTry, about 80% of the issues you're having would not exist if you were playing the PC version...including the sound.....but I thought you knew that.

Quote
Ian Tornay, EA Community Manager for Battlefield 3, has also cleared up many concerns that fans are having with the recent patch. This should also give a good idea as to what will be included in the next Battlefield 3 patch.

 So, here’s what I’m seeing.

We’ve made progress that most of you appreciate and the fixes we are making are welcome. That being said, there are still some issues that you’ve been asking about that weren’t included in this patch. These include, but are not limited to:

        In-game VOIP
        Various nerfs including Taclight
changes to chat window (size, positioning)
Additional changes to squad interface, including the ability to make squads
Beep beeps (Which will be implemented, just not in this patch)
Squad and in-game interface changes (mostly revolving around the proposed fan-designed interface)
EDIT: TV Missles – definitely known (can’t believe i left it off)
EDIT: Spectator/Battlerecorder - Another very popular request. (I can’t believe I left it off! I’d like this too)

Please know that these are definitely on our radar as top issues for community requests.

Some of the issues addressed in this patch were brought to our attention by you guys, including the “negative acceleration” issue. We’re committed to continuing to act on your feedback!

Not all of the issues we’ve solved are as impactful or sexy as some of you were hoping for, but I hope everyone appreciates how hard the DICE team has been working.
