After playing for a few hrs I have to say bf3 has potential. But what they have now is total bs. To many issues, I saw men in walls, killcam underground, dead bodies floating, sliding, and twitching. But if anythig the sound is totally awesome, best I've heard in a while, but that said it's still not enough to make up for the issues. O and I forgot to mention the party system still sucks.

played some moar today
game is beast, business as usual, rape some randoms, mod some guns , usual day at the office

my problem is dice are just retarded when it comes to doin anything properly console wise
4 person party again FTL i spent f^%kin 15mins today splitting my guys up into grps so that we could have some senior members run with some tryouts when a proper party system to get all our guys in 1 game to fill out a team would have been enough

hopefully full release has party system cuz once again the game is indeed good just like bc2 BUT deliberately limiting teamplay is utterly retarded beyond belief (also cant talk to other squads on the beta, get good DICE this is ur FOURTH attempt smfh)

PS: Assualt med, m16a3 + suppressor + rds <3

They said it is fixed in the final game already.

A post on twitter (i think) said most of the bugs in the beta were already fixed for the final game.

The beta is really to show of the game to the public in my mind

Tried it, and had a blast :D
Used older drivers so it only used one of my 580s, but i was able to play comfortably on Ultra settings (with a few glitches due to unsupported driver).

Love the game. Kinda angry that they added prone though. Encourages camping like in COD. Runs great @ 1920x1200 on Ultra. No graphical slowdown. The only problem is that it seems 4GB Ram isn't enough to prevent the game from periodically freezing. Got connection timeout errors a couple times due to this. So I have no choice but to run on 'High'. Oh well...

Sorry to hear that you guys are having issues, but isn't that kinda the point?  To see what the problems are so that they can be fixed?

Getting infuriated by the performance (or lack thereof) of a beta is counter-productive at best.

Didn't Bad Company 2's beta have some of these same issues?

I'll save my angst for the finished version.  It's in short supply these days... :laughing7:

Any of you all tried Caspian Border yet?

Mind blowing graphics on that map oye.

Whatever framerate you're getting on operation Metro is gonna be 30%+ lower in Caspian.
I get roughly 45-50fps on Metro on Ultra, but on Caspian Border...25-35fps lol
(I am running some old drivers though)

Preddy preddy map.

The password for the US Caspian servers currently is "shoppingcartsareagoodride".
They change it all the time though.
Just keep trying to get a slot, took me a good hour or so during random intervals all day :P

Notnice and THE SHIV were playing it last night there, sounds like a great map, I didnt play it yet for fear of my comp bursting into fire, or worse yet going on strike until new parts are ordered.  Lose lose either way.

its a beta man, even a noob like me is gettin some trouble shooting things in this game and its frustrating, u just have to keep on trying. My advise is to team up with the BF Gurus (notnice and shivs) and they can help mitigate your issues. its a beta it will have bugs!!!

lol, or just do like me and avoid the beta altogether.

Learned that lesson with wc3 back in the day.

The only exception I think I'll make is Dota 2, since moba type games tend to be in beta forever, if you wait for final code, you'll probably never play the game ever.

I was owning ppl left right and center lol. I have no real complaints, it runs good and can't wait for the finished product!!

Yup i did play it and it fells like a real bf game.

PS Everyone make sure your cpu/gpu is very fast if you want to play 64man servers.I normally get around 20 to 40 fps with the full 64 players because my cpu is holding back my gtx570.

So this is laughable at most....what does EA and Dice do to make up for the poor quality on Consoles? A $1.6 Million Dollar tournament for Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers....right...

http://nexus404.com/Blog/2011/09/27/dice-announces-1-6-million-battlefield-3-tournament-battlefield-3-worldwide-conquest-tournament-announced-by-dice-virgin-gaming-1-6-million-up-for-grabs/

All PC gamers get is Nice graphics and a good game experience....Well ain't that something...EA, you are a big joke...

Notnice, see if you could confirm this please...

That tournament was announced  before the beta.

I don't think EA is the one putting out the money.

Because you wasn't playing lol you was just walking around.

To bad they shut down all the CB servers
