because there are video interviews out there where dice said that the console version has battlelog integrated into it so u wont need a pc

then if u wanna think logically it would be dumb to NOT have battlelog on consoles when cod has elite on it

I am thoroughly disgusted with EA and Dice for this stupid Beta on the Xbox 360. Why oh why would they be dumb enough to release this game next month on the Xbox when the Beta looks and plays like a piece of horse sh1t? WHY?

It is so evident that no work went into the Xbox 360 version at all if the final result next month is anything close to this Beta. This is a joke in my opinion. What really pissed me off, is the fact that I fell through....yes i said FELL THROUGH the map on several occasions.with no way to get back above the map without committing suicide...at least they have that option to prevent me from having to back out from the game completely...applause for Dice for giving me a suicide option. However, after playing that Beta this morning for the short time that I did, I feel like committing suicide in real life, or as Awesome said, jump on the next available flight to Sweden and go help some Dice and EA employees commit suicide for this crap they call BF3: Xbox 360 edition. What a waste of my time downloading and playing this Beta...I am so tempted to cancel my 360 version pre-order yes....*SIGH*

I was speaking to Arcman yesterday regarding what Alpha, Beta and Gold means. This IS the final game on all platforms you are playing. Console versions are locked and being printed....and expect a HUuUUuGe day 0 patch for them. Its not going to look better, mechanics will not change, but some of those world drop throughs will not be there.

For PC its all code stabalization from now till release. Fix those attrocious LOD pops im seeing accross all 3 platforms and optimize transition/loadout times.

Just got done playing the beta on the 360 and have to say I am liking the game, sure it does not look as good as the pc version but the gameplay that I loved from the alpha is there and I am loving the experience.  I have a copy coming for 360 and honestly cant wait to run some.

I will be playing BF3 on PC Notnice, you can believe that...thanks to Arcman for the copy on PC, otherwise I would have avoided it all together.

Forgive me if this sounds like gloating, but it seems, for ONCE, the PC version of a
triple-A big title is superior to its console brethren.  Now console owners get to feel
what PC gamers have been getting for a while now.

DICE did say  that the PC platform was the the lead one for development, so it makes
sense that somewhere along the line that version would turn out to be the best one.

...and Redlum, that whole falling through the map thing is not limited to the Xbox version.
Happened to me numerous times on Metro...and I actually killed people from under the ground too.
In fact, there were quite a few players glitching and using that like an exploit.  That will be fixed I'm sure.

I hear ya Arc, but now that you tell me that falling through the map thing is not limited to the Xbox version, thats even more Epic Fail on EA/Dice. Was that in the "Alpha"? if so, they had time to fix it, and evidently haven't? So which means there must have been even WORSE things to take care of instead of fixing a glitch like that for the "Beta"...

I am sorry, but that was just a sour experience, and for a game thats less than a month away, it does not sit well in my stomach...A huge patch as Shiv said I am sure will be coming, hopefully on day 0...if not, then its Gears of War 3 till MW3 yes.... *SIGH* Why EA? WHYYYYY???!!!

The fact that its less than a month away from release and its still an issue...This is a Beta, which means its a finished product and patches will be needed to fix things on day 1 release. It shows that EA has rushed Dice to release the game. That is no good in my book. I want a quality game experience, and playing that Beta this morning soured me. I really do hope the patch that hopefully comes release day fixes that glitch, otherwise I expect to be getting killed from below the map as Arcman pointed out is what people are doing in Beta...thats just unacceptable for such a hyped up game as BF3. Yes, PC gamers are happy with the nice graphics, but if they can just fall into a map and say, oh it will be fixed in a patch by launch which is less than 1 month away and call that George, then that's accepting mediocrity and brushing off something that shows there is lack of QC, perhaps due to rushing the game....I wouldn't mind waiting another 2-3 months if it means that the game will be better for it without the annoying glitch of falling through a floor while casually strolling in the game looking for people to kill...I don't want to pay for this game to have to wait for a patch while it has glitches, who wants that?


To add fuel to the fire, I forgot to mention that the spot feature was not working consistently if at all...

And Jarrox just mentioned getting shot from men hiding in walls....yea, ok...

Hmm Redlum boy my 360 experience has been spot on, good times good times.  Got the pre-blessed version of the 360 Elite, every part dipped twice in water blessed by religious leaders from many different places on earth, looks like that extra 2 dollars was worth it.  Yay!!!

Hmm, well I will give it another run later and see if anything has changed since this morning :S

If enough people get it for 360 I will keep my Pre-order...otherwise...PC FTW!

BTW, what about Gears 3? Where your Gears?? LOL
