Take a readhttp://blogs.battlefield.ea.com/battlefield_bad_company/archive/2011/08/05/bb.aspxthis is way too late for me, but its a Marketing move, EA and DICE wants to get the best of the sale for BF3 which so far they are succeeding to do.. the availability on steam is just for the individuals who just want to purchase the game because they are new to it... but considering the fact that BF 3 has been pre-ordered with a count of 10mill and counting they can now give steam and others the scrap sales. Also check this out bf3 on steam?http://csnation.net/content.php?338-Battlefield-3-On-Steam!-...-After-Its-Initial-Release

Too little too late shall be the cry. Its most likely not Steam's fault but who here is really gonna wait to get the steam version...matter of fact nobody who is a true fan will wait for the steam version.Whenever it does come to Steam, they will get sales from those who were on the fence about the game in general or wary about EA's Origin which means more noobs for us to shoot.
