64 player matches? Hmmm.

Well, technically there WERE jets in bc2, just they were npc's.

Hmmm. Did some reading, Fall can 'fall' (lol) anywhere between September and November so technically, BF3 COULD come out on the 30th November.

Long time to wait, still, its predecessor will keep us occupied nicely till then.

I'm not THAT big a fan of BFBC2 tbh, and not sure the idea of 64 ppl (which will equate to even larger maps which I DON'T fancy) i'll see how this plays out. Wasn't a fan of BF2 either.

Cod players will hate bf3 because of the 64player and jets and large map way bigger than bc2

Thats not accurate, not all COD played will hate it because of the quantity of players or jets (which btwm they have not specified HOW they will implement jets) or the size of the maps. If you make it so that mobility on a map isn't hindered then its fine, however making a game where the gameplay literally GRINDS to a halt because noone can find anyone else WILL make ANY player question the ideology behind it. Also in getting to the opponent you always get picked off by snipers so that mobility is AGAIN hindered significantly making for a 'campers ONLY' game would also make it CRAP.

Cod players will hate the game not because of the 64 players, but more because of the different shooting mechanics.  When I had started playing COD4 in leagues n shit I had to stop playing BF2 because the control and shooting were so different that playing both at the same time was affecting my shot in COD4.  I believe both COD and Battlefield have their place in modern gaming as I find myself attracted to both games because of how good they are at what they bring to the table.

Winny trust me 64 players in an FPS is freakin epic, honestly in terms of war games more really is better.  Most of my prized moments in gaming came from playing BF2 all those years and the only game that I have had the same feelings as BF2 was Joint Ops and lo and behold that mc game had 128 player servers which truly as a feat to play.  Lastly the thing about the jets... back in my BF2 days I used to run with a squad and on said squad had a guy named CrazyD who didnt really like shooters but was a flight sim maniac so all he did really as fly jets/bombers/attack choppers with his overly expensive joystick setup.  BF2 was actually 2 games in 1 a fps and also a flight game when you jump into a jet it is truly another game.
