Squads of four work. SONY needs to work on their party voice chat system accordingly.

Can't blame dice for sony's nonsense come on.

for d last time its not sony nonsense
its a squad of 4 and u can only invite 3 other ppl to ur party and the game is designed so that squads cant communicate with each other

have some knowledge na ma oh gosh ah hate responding to crap comments like da
if MAG can have comms between squads of 256 players flawlessly then its the DEVS FAULT FOR LIMITING IT AND STILL KEEPING SQUADS AT 4 comprende?

EVEN IF sony get party chat d game party size Is FOUR so when u get into a game gonna add random ppl to ur friends list, hope they accept a total strangers friend request, then join said strangers party chat? i rest my case.

But I do understand what you trying to say. I was wrong in my take on your beef but I think I got it now.

Personally, I dont roll with randoms. If my boys not with me then I play as well as I can given the support I get.

Randoms, 9 out of 10 times are idiots and even if you had 40 man squads, it just means that youre gonna be more likely to get to spawn on someone close to your objective.

See how that is done? In case you didnt notice, there's no primary school attitude anywhere in this post.

well yuh see when i've been sayin this for like a month now and ppl STILL dont get what i trying to say about what d limitations are and keep saying is sony fault, i really hate repeating myself over and over, which i have been doin every time this is brought up, and have very little patience and d main ppl arguing against the obvious point i trying to make are ppl without ps3s or ppl who now get it/rarely play it

squad size is not a problem again MAG has 8 man squads but we can get 128 ppl in d party spread across 16 squads if needed, and communicate between squads

BC2 have a squad size of 4 which is also used as the party limit so once u get ur 3 friends in thats it...no more and still cant communicate between squads which is a severe fault of an objective based game which trying to promote teamwork.

how are u suppose to have REAL teamwork if u cant talk to other squads?
if me an the 3 ppl out of 100 i choose to invite to my party get in game how we suppose to tell another squad "hey the chokepoint to the left is a high traffic area, i think its best we take a squad or 2 over there to lock off that chokepoint"

we cant, so we have to HOPE ppl realise this and are willing to go there, we also have to HOPE ppl on d same page when on offense and we need to make a coordinated push since we cant say "hey, take 2 squads sneak around back and ill take my squad and another and draw their attention from the front and we catch em in a crossfire when u get into position"
again....we cant....we just have to roll with 3 other ppl and d rest of squads do what they want cuz no one will ever be on the same page 99% of the time

as much as the game likes to tout teamwork it severely lacks it, tbh and is only because of the way PC setup that u can actually achieve some type of teamwork due to servers+mumble and not matchmaking so u cud get more ppl on ur team and still coordinate

which is WHY i hoping DICE stop being lazy and do something about it, because i would actually like to play BF3 and my clan is actually excited about it BUT i have more than 3 ppl in my clan.....and i will not waste money if everytime i hadda choose which 3 i want in my party and then jump in a game and have to HOPE the other squads populated with some slightly intelligent ppl since we cant communicate directly

Killzone learned its lesson
KZ2 had 4 man squads with 4 squads per team and no way to communicate to other squads
KZ3 rectify that somewhat by upping squad size to 8 and max ppl per team is 12, still cant communicate between squads tho but at least the majority of ppl on the team would be on the same page which is not a problem

so yes the xbox has party chat which can be used as a workaround for comms and PC hav servers no matchmaking and have mumble so it can be used as a workaround as well but dont say is sony fault just because ur system of choice have a workaround for d comms (xbox/PC) and party size (PC) when is the devs who purposely designed both BC and MoH this way

Bf3 will not be like bc2 dice said it will be more like bf2,so there will/should be 6 or 8 man squad.

BTW consoles are limited to 24 players and pc is 64 better of to play this on s pc,but ps3 might be 32 player

well thats what i hoping for
24 players tbh too small for them Maps 32 at least imo

as for the squads/party system i really hope so cuz is 3 games running it like that for consoles

-Concept for BF3 has been in the works for years, waiting on proper tech to seamlessly come together
-Frosbite 2.0 is the culmination of this tech, entirely re-written
-Lighting sounds neat, one "probe" contains more lighting information than an entire BFBC2 level.
-Level destruction is going to be "believable" but basically everything is destructible.
-Character animations powered by ANT, what EA Sports uses.
-AI characters and multiplayer characters have different animation sets
-No more "gliding" animations that look off, animation realism is a focus
-Captured their own war audios (bullets, tanks, helicopters, etc) at different distances to ensure realism
-Better audio cues for certain actions, more easily able to listen for threats
-Plan on better, more immediate post release content
-More unlocks than BFBC2
-Dice trying to find a good balance between customization of your character and not having "pink rabbit hat(s)"
-4 classes
-Will talk about squads "later"
-Looking into a theater mode but can't talk about it
