Good review, already pre-ordered this on PC, though have to wait until mid-June. I trying to coax my gaming buddies into buying it, i think this local review will help.

u brave to pre-order a Ghost Recon game on PC. next ting we get some over-complicated version of the console game like last time. are we definitely getting the same game as them?

You're getting the same game. Ubisoft's DRM turned me off from the PC version though.
What happens if you want to play it by yourself...offline. You may not be able to.
I actually miss that the PC versions are different. The GRAW games are perfect examples of how PC versions should be done.
It's for PC after all...shouldn't it be a little more complicated by default? I certainly think so.

i agree that PC versions should be a bit more complicated, but the last game was completely different from its console counterpart. I wouldn't have mind the same game with more in-depth tactical options, but to give us something so different is a no no for me. but as u said, we're getting the same thing this rounds, so i happy wit that.

Tried playing some competitive MP on Xbox Live.....
Emphasis on
'tried'
.
As someone who normally plays flight/driving games on console,
lets just say I spent more time watching the spawn screen than actually playing.
On the plus side...I did get LOTS of 'hit-markers'.
It was a truly humbling wake-up call.....Seems like I might really need that XIM Edge after all.

...only because of subpar netcode.
The good thing is that the PC version can be patched easier and quicker.

I played this a bit on the PC yesterday. Got to a point where I couldn't progress without getting detected. How do you issue orders to the AI? They all just stand around and do nothing.
It looks like a good co-op game. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet.

I wasn't too impressed with this game at first but after spending some more time playing, it changed my opinion. The gameplay is definitely there and would make a really great co-op experience. Even the multiplayer game modes are a lot of fun when I do manage to find a match. It's just too bad more people don't have it on the PC. It is probably a 1:1 port over from consoles as it's nothing to look at. IMO that is the only thing wrong with the game.
