GATT's 3DMark Vantage Leaderboard

Before you can be placed in the rankings, please see rule 1 and 2.

1) Vantage settings MUST be left at default, including resolution. (No PhysX assisted scores)

2) Appreciate the purpose for which this thread is intended: To maintain a competitive environment for all members WITHOUT any haggling, flaming, hate, bad talking, disrespectful comments, etc..

To enter the competition, simply download the Vantage benchmark program for free from the 3dmark site.

Run the benchmark and reply with your score and a link to your results page. Its that simple.

I know I know, but I hardly game on my PC (its FOLDING most times and an 8800GT folds better than a 4870 imagine that). And funds have very important other uses like rent, food, gas, you know necessities of life XD. Doh worry though, yuh KNOW it will come in time.

One suggestion:

We should keep track of position changes...

Like on the 1st of every month someone simply lists the Name and rank in a post, so at least we can track how people's rank changes over time...

lol, yeah boy....but I still love my dual core 3ghz CPU. The benchmarks give it no love but my games running smooth.

Don't worry, from the minute they start to frame at 1920x1200, I'll pony up for the quad 3ghz and 5850/70.

Again, this explains why console men could scoff at PC enthusiasts yes. That upgrade will equal the price of two next gen consoles right there. No denying, you need deep pockets to keep up.

Your MW2 not framing at 19x12?

Xfire would report 85-90 fps constant but in some maps it lags, not badly, but throws off my game.

Needless to say ALL that $hit done, thanks to the 5850's

Of course, that problem could been caused by some screw up in the os.

mw2 never lagged in sp and any framing I got in mp I attributed to lag. (dont get arc started, lol)

Dragon age ran like butter, as did borderlands. All settings on high afair

I'd love to get a ssd for my desktop to improve load times, that's on the Christmas wishlist for 2010. (got one on my laptop and it kicks ass)

Dont think vantage factors that in though (maybe they should?)

That framing wasnt lag. I thought so too, but lag is distinctive.

in any event, once you're satisfied, thats the important thing.

Vantage doesnt look at drive speed, thats what pcmark is for.
