Has 2009 been a good year for you or a horrible one..or simply just another year gone by with no effect on your life.

that's a real tough call yes.

Let me throw some things out.

#1 Games: Borderlands, Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2, Street Fighter 4 and more. The reason for this very site and the making of a good year. lol

#2 Windows 7: Microsoft got it right for once. Amazing Operating System.

#3 Movies: Star Trek, Avatar, District 9, 2012, The Watchmen and more. A best year for movies.

#4 Steam: Buying games online at fantastic prices and downloading them straight to your PC just plain kicks ass. Always updated to the latest version and it's available for re-download should your hard drive crash. Not to mention, it saves the environment (no packaging, or discs whatsoever). What more do you want?

#5: 26" Asus LCD Monitor: Gaming never looked so good. sigh, I love you mon.

hmm for me from the purely materialistic standpoint...

1. 28 inch Hanns G HG281 1080p monitor..makes gaming very awesome

2. 4850 x2 2 gig video card coupled with the above = very awesome combo

3. 4 terrabytes of hd space,

4. Start Trek favorite movie for the year by farrrrr

5. getting street fighter 4, Dragon age Cod Mw 2, left for dead 2 among others on steam. Great year for pc gaming. Dragon Age trumps all btw.


6. PS3 at long last, almost made me forget PC gaming ALMOST. ( i blame uncharted 1 @ 2 lol) so much win here will have to make other points (God of war 3 demo, Battlefield 2 Bad Company Beta etc etc)

7. dual monitor setup with ps3 and pc, and creating a media server with the ps3 and the other pcs in the house. room is a media centre now (made easier by Wyatt lending that vga to vga cable)

Highlights of the year.

Final Year @ SAM's... one hell of a year.
Being introduced to Guild Wars...big chunk of the past year.
Obama in Trinidad...woi.
Michael Jackson's death
Transformers 2 , Star Trek , GIJoe , District 9 , Avatar
Uncharted 2.....Epic win...
Modern Warfare 2...more epic win.
Killzone 2 came out and was awesome.
PS3 died...twice.
Bought a ps3 Slim
lost some serious progress from save files
Windows 7 is nice

Steam ftw.

Thats about all the jumbled thoughts that can come out my mind atm.

Finally got a PC overhaul....woi
Saw my mum for the first time in like 11 months....woiiii
Got my first DSLR......woiiiiii
