Yeah. We have a good movie thread. This one is for the real stinkers - the cinematic excrement of the year 2009.

These are the movies that not so much scrape the bottom of the barrel, but should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as barrels, to paraphrase Ebert.

I'm not setting up a poll, and any movie that came out between Jan 1, 2009 and now is eligible.

My nominations.

New Moon. Fandom aside, it is a dreadfully made movie.

Transformers 2. Long, noisy, confusing. BangbangboomcrushnoplotSamwitwickyMeganfoxfxbang.

Old Dogs probably belongs in here too, as well as any movie ending with the word "movie" that came out this year.

transformers 2.....truly loud, convoluted and really boring imo

wolverine...this movie just had me pissed oui. had so much potential.

Terminator Salvation..... NOTHING good about that movie save the arnold cameo and it was CGI.

Terminator Salvation IMO was good. Far better than the 3rd film. Not a classic like the first 2, but still good.

So was the Wolverine movie. I didn't find it to be as horrible as everyone says it was. To me, Inglorious Basterds sucked.

Tranformers 2 sucked too, but not enough to call it the year's worst.

T2 wasn't great, but not worst of year, wolverine left ALOT to be desired to anyone familiar with the actual comic, Terminator was UTTER Horse excement and Inglorious bastards was DAMN entertaining!

lmfao. i honestly thought Inglorious Basterds was boring. sorry. i may have been a bit sleepy to begin with, but i just got bored.

i guess i just didn't expect it to have so much talking. the trailers chain meh head. i agree though that Wolverine strayed waaay

too far from to comics for fans of the medium to enjoy. but i still found it fairly enjoyable. and i still doh kno where allyuh

coming from wit this "Salvation is mess" talk. if u watch it with the surround sound blaring and with the light off, you have a hell

of a time. but, as was said before, to each their own.

hatta agree with rage here.

Salvation was far from crap imo. Not as epic as the first 2, but wayyyyyyyyyy better than 3 and a sufficient blockbuster in its own right. not deserving of a crap title.

Wolverine however...jus plain fail.. those claw alone look like cardboard cgi...

Just like with Salvation, went in with no expectations and was entertained...Silly questions like heart transplant in the desert didn't really get me down. Did make me go back and watch the first to though, glad I found HD rips of those two.

I LUVED Jennifer's Body simply because I expected nothing and I got to see Megan Fox make out with a cute blonde.

Plus, the blonde was a DREAD badjohn. The first scene in the Mad House was WIN.

This year ain't done yet...but the worst movies I've seen for 2k9 in reverse order thus far are:

3) Surrogates- come on Bruce Willis, retire like Ah-nuld Schwarzenegger nah

2) Transformers Revenge of the Fallen- the spark (or rather allspark from the first installment is long gone)

and kablam!

1) Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li - words cannot express my hatred for this piece of f***ery...rather watch the USA network toons that this horse jizz
