Peng Shuilin had half of his body amputated after being run over by a truck. But he never gave up!
His recovery has amazed surgeons after almost two years undergoing a series of operations.
The vice-president of the hospital where this 37-year old Chinese man has been treated said: “He is amazing and the only person in the world to survive having so much of his body amputated.”
He’s doing well now and has opened his own bargain supermarket - called the Half Man-Half Price Store.
That’s incredible. It seems nothing can get him down…

Obviously he cant "do business" anymore but how does he take care of the other two businesses. I guess the important thing is that he can still run a business.

I did a google search on the name "Peng Shuilin" to get more info on this man's story. Once again my google fu backfired, there was a gore video result with a similar accident. Of course I clicked through to said gore site and all I could think was WTF. Not going to post that video here as it is against forum rules but damn there is some nasty stuff on the internet.
