Very nice so far. Nice and light, glides smoothly. I was really looking to get the G700s, but I got this for much cheaper than the retail price for both that and for this one. I've been using the G500 for the past couple months and the finish on the G602 is much, much smoother. Still has nice grip but the sandpaper feel the previous one had is smoothed out. Would love to see a comparison between the two. User reviews from the G700s say the buttons are mushy and not tactile. Not so with this one, can vouch for that.

I have both the G700s and the G602.

The buttons on both mice are fine.  I just don't fancy tilt-wheel buttons.  I am SO glad that the G602 does away with them entirely.
The battery life is damn near epic.  I've been using it with a pair of rechargeable Sanyo Eneloop batteries since the 26th of September, and thus far, only about 10% of the battery has been used.  I would probably have had to change batteries in the G700s quite a few times in the same period.

Where the G700s is the gas-guzzling Ferrari...the G602 is the economic gas sipping Nissan.  :laughing7:

Both mice perform admirably...with a slight edge going to the G602 on smoothness.

Ario...can you describe the G240 mousepad?
Want to get my mitts on one.  From all accounts...it seems like the perfect 'ying' to the G602's 'yang'.

I on the other had like the tilt wheel; sorry to see it go, but I am liking  the solid feel of this one's wheel.

The mousepad that the 240 replaces is a steelseries (http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B000UEZ36W/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_img_z)

The 240 is not as thick as that one but the difference in the feel is unmistakable. the ridges on the steelseries can be felt when you run your fingers along it; not so with the logitech. when I initially got the steelseries it took a day or two for it to lay completely flat whereas the logitech spread out as soon as I unrolled it. very pliable, and yet I haven't yet noticed the grip underneath moving around at all.

The keyboard is a bit on the loud side. Apart from that, I love it. The clicky feel and sound of the keys is really nice. In future I would probably try out the brown switches.

Arcman would you say the 602 is an improvement over the g700? Using the g700 now no real issues, aside of one side button being a little stiff, and battery life being a little iffy on long play sessions.

It's a hell of an improvement...in every way except the way in which profiles are implemented.

With the G700/G700s, you could store up to 3 profiles on the mouse itself.  Not so with the G602.
It only stores one on-board profile, so there's no 'profile-switcher' button, and you can't assign one.
It actually makes more sense to use profiles stored on the PC though, so I've already adapted, using my G15 keyboard as the profile switcher.

Biggest improvement...the battery life.

If you're on the fence, I say go for it.

I found a GTX 690 on kijiji for CAD$600. Too good to pass up, immaculate condition. I'm considering flipping it, already found a potential buyer :)
