What was the last purchase you made and why
« on: October 11, 2009, 03:45:35 PM »
Being idle on a Sunday, as the topic says...what was the last purchase you made and why did it deserve your hard earned cheddar?

I'll start...Just ordered off amazon.com

Xbox 360 Wireless Headset  US$46.49 and a Universal Component Video cable (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360)   US$19.99

The first is to cuss redlum, w1ntry, czar, ago and others all the more clearly online while sweating halo odst.

The second piece of kit is to connect all my other consoles to the LCD. Got the 360 and PS3 sharing an  HDMI cable at the moment.

Purchased Audiosurf (http://www.audio-surf.com) off Steam.

Fun little game, tons of replay value (as much replay as songs you have on your PC), depending on the track, it can really test reaction time...

Oh, and it was US$4.99 (50% off) :D

SPK.. Pepper Roti hoss!!

Nah, we does make a better pepper roti here at home....and $15 for a piece of pepper roti? LOL! We could make 2 whole pepper roti for that price. :D

My sis did buy a slice though, and she said it had a decent amount of pepper this time around, so it was better than what she got last time.

Ended up costing $140tt to bring in two of those drives. I was pleasently surprised to find that the units use the Samsung Spinpoint F2EG 1.5tb drive, the most reliable drive of that size.

Bought a PSN Network Card for $375.

Why? Because Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is the sh*t, yo. And you know yours truly won't own a PS3 and not snap it up.

laertes, you win the thread with that Star Trek model yes, lol.

Now THAT would be a christmas present I wouldn't mind receiving.

Blu_Vice, the surround sound really working with that headset? I'm very curious. A surround sound head phone setup could be on my santa wish list.
