To be fair, it looks exaclty like my HP Elitebook and if it is the specs aren't crappy as I CAN play BFBC2 quite well. My specs:

Core i7 2.0GHz (w/ HT)
8GB Ram
500GB HD
1600x900
FireGL 3900 1GB (which is effectively a HD6470)

^^ Again, all of that pointless, d only thing that really matter when it comes to boot time is d ssd, any bog standard cpu dese days makes d difference meaningless. U coudl have a 6 core cpu overclocked to shit, machine going boot d same speed.

And u can put a ssd in any old crappy netbook and boot times will increase dramatically just d same. So weather it was a super book or a piece of crap they did d test on. Doesnt matter.

SSD is d only meaningful differentiator these days.

I think the take home is, it's running on hardware available NOW, seeing as Windows 8 is mid-late 2012, even its it TOP of the line NOW, it'll be mid-market (at BEST) by that time next year. The most important question isn't ALL the hardware imho, it's what HD it's using, SSD or traditional.

This Could Be The Samsung Windows 8 Tablet For Developers
Posted on September 13, 2011 by pradeep

As we are just few hours away from the official preview of Windows 8, information on Windows 8 is leaking all over the web. Once such thing is the image of the Samsung Windows 8 tablet which Microsoft could give away to BUILD conference attendees. It seems like a real product and not fake… What do you think?

A more in-depth assessment of the preview build.

http://thisismynext.com/2011/09/13/windows-8-tablet-photos-video-preview/

I'm miffed that the all programs menu was replaced with the tile view though. Other than that looks good.

As a wp dev Messiah, link up the boys with dev build iso's na man.

yea today, about the public... I think so not too sure

The download will be available via the Windows Dev Center at 8pm Pacific time Tuesday night. That includes a 64-bit (x64) build with development tools to build apps and a 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) build without development tools.
