The movie apparently got some positive disposition so far as seen on Rotten Tomatoes...still need a definitive response though...however the movie looks really good so I'm not worried...and it's Rated R for Strong Creature Violence and Gore, are Pervasive language

I liked it.

Doesn't hold a candle to the original though. Aside from how well directed the 1st one is compared to this one, the 1st movie also had better violence.

Scenes like Jesse Ventura's chest getting blown out weren't topped in this movie.

Still, it was very enjoyable. Brody was cool. Twas good to see a decent pred movie in the cinema.

"MORPHEUS" was screamed throughout the cinema when Fishburn came on....

The movie was good enough to keep me away from my gf at times.

I will give credit to the director for going back to the atmospheric roots by placing the central story in a jungle setting (even though it's an alien jungle it's cool) Also I noticed that most of the original music from the first Predator film was there combined with some new music, so again it's good to be back. I will credit the acting and characters especially Adrien Brody, Alice Braga and Topher Grace, they gave good performances. Also I praise the titular creatures, I mean those on screen action and mayhem as a result of their actions were very violent and brutal but exciting to watch. My only complaints which are minor are the visual effects in some areas. Example the Predator "dogs" look really fake, that's just me and the explosions looked really horrible. Also as cliche as this sounds this movie still lacks the original seamoss and linseed of the very first Predator film. However I'll say that I'm thankful for a hardcore action sci fi film and not a watered down PG-13 matinee (like 2004s Alien vs Predator) good to see those stealth creatures hunt again!

well ok I'm speaking of the ratio
This year had plenty games that I anticipated to be good and they were really good
As for movies I had really high expectations for plenty and some of them stank. Knight and Day, Twilight Eclipse and The Last Airbender were two NOTABLE examples of this.... at least IMO
I liked some of the movies this year...but in comparison to last year...it is a few amount...at least for now...the year isn't over yet...

All the games I played so far though I like!

Wait... you SERIOUS? Twilight?... hoss my girlfriend refuses to watch that SHIT, after watching the first movie and realizing how TERRIBLE the acting OVERALL was.... you SERISOULY expected ANYTHING from this movie?

I watched the trailer and it looked dark and disturbing and I was think aye they finally added some Gaza formula to this series...when i watched it I mentally kicked my own @ss afterwards

AS a hopefully future movie director I have no choice but to watch all titles and old ones and keep abreast with all that's goin on including the BS movies ala Twilight
