Looking for Members for new media group.

Some associates and I are tryin to form a small group of .... well for a lack of a better term people skilled in media(media producers). This would include artists , graphic artists , video editors , musicians , sound editors, photoshoppers , website design ,directors , videographers ,etc.
(students and professionals are invited alike)

This isnt a job offer so if you are looking for work this would not be good for you. However if you would like somewhere to hone your skills , interact with peers , do fun and challenging projects , and potentially make some extra cash(hopefully near future) , then this would be perfect for you .

Initially what we are looking at would be basically trading each other's skills and knowledge while having fun working on projects. The goal is to not only create great trini media but to also educate the members but to eventually turn it into profit. If you walk away from this with nothing else I assure you that you will be at least be more networked than when you come. Meeting talented individuals and being able to call on them for future assistance .

As long as it's a part time thing with "reasonable" meeting hours, i would love to hear you out.

Web Engineer + Software engineer by profession, so anything in those realms i suppose (e-commerce, web applications, database design etc.) you know technology.

ok @ hon . Yeah further details on msn , also we gonna do a beta free forum soon just for brainstorming i guess and once we know exactly which way we wanna go with our initial project then we will put up an official website. Or i am not sure if a small private forum is possible on gatt .

I love hon but it usually isnt loaded on my pc because i have a small resolution issue , um just pm on msn if ur playing and i will probably have time to play.

oh and nice talking business with you ultimategamer , seeing a lot of possibilities if this kind of response keeps up.

Now different media producers come together to do different things , and we expect small groups within this community to branch out and do their own projects with members. Now for example me , I would probably work with other video editors , a musician here and there , videographer etc. Where as someone else lets say in webdesign would be working with the e-commerce guys and the graphic artists and well the list goes on. thats the beauty of media. There are a lot of things people can do for each other.

The goal here is not only to develop the community but make it a profitable place to be part of. So instead of lets say interviewing new people you dont know. You give the people you are networked with a call and some of the people you have worked with before and you know can get the job done. Some projects will be fun non profit and some will be for money. But i dont want finance to be the main focus of the members because money tends to bring about problems for obvious reasons. But we still cant ignore that everyone needs cash lol.

Well like I said there will be no obligation initially . We understand everyone has different lives and will need to do their own thing from time to time. Its really not something you need to sign. Like for example , you are a part of gatt right? You have fun and you talk business . But is anyone here trying to force you to play games with em ? Lol no .

And yes it is in the brainstorming planning stage but like I said its not such a new concept. We just need the talented people to make it work . Another good thing about this is we all given our prior knowledge know a bit about where to start . Really the brainstorming is not to develop the infrastructure , its discuss how to do it our way.

Ok hi , sorry for like one day absence . First i had woman troubles and this morning i have like a 2 hour doctor appointment but i am here and fine.

Ok so more people are responding and I made a beta free forum. This will not be the official website , its just to brainstorm and make suggestions for the website comprende?
Ok well I have never made a forum before but i spent like 40 mins pruning this and any other problems i will give people moderation so they can change what i failed at  .
