I guess they are looking into the success of the Marvel franchise with Iron Man, Spiderman, Hulk and the upcoming Avenger movie...Disney is really stepping in where it doesn't belong. Cinderella and Tony Stark alone in the same room...LOL Thats just wrong...

I think the involvement may not be anywhere near the level that most people fear, I think they just gonna be the owner of the property in an effort to collect increased revenue from new sources of income in markets they may have never fully explored.

Lets just wait and see nah...how about that?

I really do not expect Disney to just 'spen a money' and then sit back and allow the status quo to continue as is.
There will be changes...some of which die-hard Marvel fans aren't going to like one bit.

still agree with laertes though, Marvel Comics as a whole I sincerly doubt will be affected, at least the popular books.

movie wise it could seriously rock, I mean imagine Pixar making a silver surfer movie, or at worst miley cyrus as Dazzler, (or tim allen as Doctor Strange  )

Certain movie properties are still tied to various franchises and getting them back wont be happening anytime soon, paramount has the rights to for five more films - Iron Man 2, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America, The Avengers and maybe Ant-Man.

Disney aint stupid, they wont disable the status quo of the core Marvel Comics characters, and financially its a great deal for Marvel.
