Arc is right Mafia II is a GTA clone,but i will still play not because i like it but because i have not to else to play at all.

BC2 is dieing (thanks sc2) so i will have to play this while waiting on bc2v,moh,bf3,f1 2010,dirt 3,nfs, etc

from what ive played its not no gta clone. no side missions atal. no choices to go where u want to,  (same structure as the original mafia) whole structure is like a moving narrative rather than a fully functional sandbox. that has its limitations and it also makes it a very different kind of experience.

that said however its underwhelming, not bad, just not great.  at least its a billion times better than that kane n lynch 2 filth.

i only started the game today. it's definitely not as good as the original but still fun. the gun-play is the real highlight. battle are as intense as

they come. and Berserk is right, it's a hell of a lot better than Kane & Filth 2. oh and GTtv Review's here....

This game seems to force you to admire the scenery, take in the sights and sounds...and for good reason! I almost felt like I was actually walking home dred. They come good. The graphics are a notch above gta's, gameplay seems interesting enough. is it worth $50? Not in my book. I'll wait till its half price off and pick it up.
