Nope...that headset is USB only.  It can't accept any of the PS3's inputs, so that one is PC only.

Looks very kickazz though.

What you need are one of these.  When yuh ready to order, check me.

so i got my ax pros 2day and i must say very impressed

arc it no longer needs two adapters to power it lol
they changed it up a bit
it uses a sinlge power adapter with a splitter so 1 adapter powers both headset and decoder box and also they changed the mic and added the ax720/900 black mic which is a lil longer and a lil more flexible

tried it in U2 an worked like a charm
heard everything where gunfire was coming from an wheter it was close or far
heard footsteps also
gonna whore these in all meh ps3 games an fully test them
these wud rape in cod cuz with these kinda headsets u hear ppl with dead silence lol

also dont listen to review or any1 sayin these headsets hard to setup
ppl who say this headsets hard to setup retarded its very easy to setup
was up an runnin in less than 5

Then the Tritton AX Pro is your best bet.  Kinda pricey though, but its worth it.

I'll cop one eventually, funds permitting of course.

Way ahead a ya:)

Pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of that set though.
It will never be as nice as the AX Pro set, but I actually have a problem
paying more than 150 US for a headset.

My turtle beach works great but I still don't think I am getting "real surround sound"

I can't tell with absolute certainty where a sound is coming from in the game.

Asides from left and right.

Hoping to move to a real surround sound setup with actual speakers but then the misses (and neighbours) will probably have a fit when they hear fellas cussin in bad company 2 in 3D. lol

...but that headset IS actual surround sound.  Remember, there's 4 speakers in each side eh: front, rear, centre and subwoofer.
You may need to tweak the individual speaker levels to 'bring up' the rear channels, and 'bring down' the front/center channels a bit.

Worked wonders for mine.

cant go wrong with the AX Pros man
one of THE best gaming investments i ever made love it

works on all 3 platforms (PS3, PC, 360)
4 speakers in each cup giving u TRUE surround sound and not Virtual like the 720 (even tho the virtual surround sound is very very good also)

best part is gaming without distrubing others so u can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be no matter wa time u playin

also Astro came out with a new headset recently the A30
cheaper than the A40s too and from what i have been hearing just as good if not better than the 40s

but that's the thing arc, even though it is "true" surround sound with the 4 speakers in each cup, I still can't reliably discern anything more than left and right.

I try configuring that thing every which way.

Was thinking to get a creative labs sound card because I'm using it with integrated sound. After reading that battlefield bad company 2 doesn't use the creative labs processor, opting for the CPU to do sound processing, I dumped that idea. lol

If it ain't good enough for Battlefield, it ain't good enough for me.

Philo, your setup sounding like the real deal.

I'll try that in a timing. BLuetooth headset for voice chat and 5.1 real speakers idmc.

PS3 but it wont make a difference what system u use it on
watching the pc setup for it now and u can connect either tru optical or analog and both produce 5.1 sound
