i kind new to this benchmark thing.so here my lil system i have.

specs
msi k9a2 platinum motherboard
phenom 9950 b.e -stock 2.66 -o/c 3.2ghz
evga 280gtx 1gb stock setting
2x1 ocz ram stock settings

Without 2nd fan it runs a 37 degrees @3.1ghz.
With 2nd fan,runs at 33 degrees @3.1ghz.
At stock 2.6ghz it does idle at 28degrees.

Its probably dual channel Unganged. My mobo runs that way, strangely enogh ganged mode decreases memory throughput, well there is a perfectly logical reason, but at a glance it seems to make little sense. It has to do with overhead due to synchronization etc.

fk that is like 4 degrees drop...what your ambient temps are?

the ambient temps range from 35 - 38 degrees on the hottest days
