Well, as the title says, I have a Dell Studio 15 (1555 series - current version) up for sale, owned for just over a week and a half. It works beautifully, I honestly don't want to sell it, but I have urgent dental surgery to take care of, so that comes first over this now...

It is possible to run Crysis on this (albeit at low-medium settings to get playable framerates), but it's a decent mid-range gaming laptop, that's for sure.

The screen, while not 1080p, is still a pretty sight for watching hi-def movies on though

I would normally pay them back over time, but the kinda talk they hit me yesterday, it feels like this would be an albatross around my neck, so I just want to give dem back their money and order one for myself when I have all the cash up front.

hey man nice lap! i have one of these myself ......i have a question though when u installed xp does the graphics card still have shared memory or does it only use the 512 on the card itself (i have the same specs xcept with a 250 gb hdd) cause with vista when i open the CCC i see that is using 1788mb (it used more but i did sumn with ati tray not sure what tho and it went down to 1788MB) for the graphics card memory

It still uses shared memory in XP, but only up to 1GB total memory, so it will use 512MB from the system memory and the 512MB built in for the card itself.
