Well, the Anker Astro 3E that I'm eyeing is 10,000 MAh, vs the 1150 MAh Duracell unit.

That's way more capacity (and compatibility) for 'just' 40 usd.
Amazon nearly hook me with that bundle, but I settled on the 3E, and the 5600 MAh one for the wifey.

I have to agree with zerk though....the general rule of thumb is 10 to 1.

So if an item is US$290.00 on Amazon, it would be reasonably priced at TT$2900.00 (taking into consideration duty, vat, shipping, profit, overheads)

So with that said, the price is actually pretty decent!

It's a monitor...therefore, no VAT, no duties.  Just freight.



Lets do a little math...

Using round figures:  290 US x 6.45 = 1870 TT

Shipping via Ezone: 20 lbs x 3 US/lb = 60 US x 6.45 = 387 TT

1870 + 387 = 2257 TT

A difference of just over 350 TT.
You would willingly give away 350 dollars just so?  They said '3-5 days delivery' which means they have to order it, so why can't you do the same?

Their original price was ridiculous to begin with.
This 'new' price ain't doing anybody no favours either.


My argument stands, but whatever.  It's your money.

brought in A LOT of LCDs and never got it classed as a TV..

it would clearly say TV on the box..they WILL know.. and if they label is as a HDTV or LCD TV... easy fight and win.... been there done that.
