Less than 50gigs used on my 128gig Crucial m4 with BF3, Office 2010 and all the other supporting drivers, plugins uptates etc and a bunch of small programs.

Gamers on a tight budget could make the 64gig ssd work, just with one or two games max loaded on it though.

yup all good points.
You could also save some more space by moving some directories to another drive and use symbolic links to link them back to their original location. This is a bit advanced and could lead to problems down the road if not done properly.

we already do that with the brilliant steammover app which makes creating those links a cinch.

awesome, my fresh install of win7 64 with battlefield and dota 2 is clocking 60+ gb

How did you get yours down to 50???

Did you disable your swap file altogether or something?

I had to disable my hibernation file to achieve the 60gb as is.
