*sigh*

Must EVERYTHING be compared on the same level?

This thread is for 'sweet deals'.  I found a 'sweet deal'.  Why not just leave it at that.
If it doesn't appeal to you, it doesn't mean it just aint no good.  ???

All the reviews recommend that those speakers be used primarily on a media center
or HTPC...NOT for gaming.  Jeez.

that's kind of the point of the thread, to find the sweetest deal. so let 'em have a go. lol

if they find a better one, no harm in it.

we'll still have you to thank for raising the speaker deal in the first place. Without which, the analysis would never have started.

if the z2300 is louder and more readily availably locally, that would be the better option.

You can always get a remote for your media pc / htpc for less than us$30.00 and that will be tons cheaper to ship. A small remote vs huge speaker boxes. The volumetric weight will not be kind. I rest my case!

Capitan, as for not using it....you as a techie might not....but the remote was a big hit with the misses.

it speaks their language. lol. You just lay on the videos/movies/tv series thick on a htpc, give them the remote and boom....they're distracted for hours. nag free gaming ftw.

To each his own. That's what makes this world so great...and for me, remote controlled speakers over more powerful ones ≠ sweet deal.

Very well.  If better can be had locally for less, then disregard.

No hard feelings...I might just get one of those G51 sets myself.  :)

I just became aware of First Choice today. Looked at their pricelist and was amazed at the prices (for a local site), especially with the 4870x2 card. Lo and behold, thay had NOTHING lol. That figures.

yeah, I noticed that too.

It's easy to list a ton of items on a pricelist and fan around the island. Stocking them on the other hand, a whole different story.

I got so fedup of companies boasting prices and then they never have the item in stock for sale. steups!

hmmmm...best local prices i've seen. Still, as a competitor, i'll still be able to bring in stuff air freight and all and still sell cheaper, though not on the same volume.

Uh...ya. The warranty I get is the warranty they get. Of course once I have the same product in stock I can just do a direct exchange one time and claim warranty on the side so the customer doesnt have to wait how much ever months.
