Rage, do you really re-watch the majority of stuff in your "collection"? Or once you seen it, you never replay them but just keep it as an archive?

Also remember having permission issues with freenas back in the day. Would think they sorted that out by now.

cant speak for rage but can speak for us, we dont only have to cater about what one individual has to watch.. we cater for the whole family so deleting is not an option...

I see your point and true to form, the only movies / tv series we keep on tap are the family titles. The little ones will watch Tinkerbell, Avatar: The last airbender and Ponyo a hundred times over. Those never make it to the deleted bin.

All the R rated stuff is basically a once and done affair so those aren't so lucky. Delete idmc.

Besides, with so many movies and series still to be seen, why spend time on one you've already viewed? (Of course that reasoning doesn't take traction with my kids) lol

Well, as I said, it's a "collection" (dunno why u put in quotes). I'm not just downloading for kicks. It's a hobby. I don't see comic collectors re-reading their books every month, but they still buy them right? I've spent so much time putting my collection in order that deleting anything isn't even an option.

and PS, i don't have a lot of devil and dismemberment films Wyatt. if i do indeed have a movie with the word "devil" in it, it's because I saw some pretty good reviews on it. tryin to make meh look like some kinda devil worshiper of wha? lol. it's true that most of my movies aren't family oriented, but there aren't any kids at my home, so why worry?

I intend to watch most of them over sooner or later, but it doesn't make sense doing that now when more than half of them are unwatched. I have family member and friends who watch the movies I have too, so why would I delete them just because I personally saw them? ppl tend to believe that because digital media can be so easily deleted and reacquired that it shouldn't hold any type of value. but I disagree. just my opinion.

Yeah Rage, was just teasin' on the devil films. I think I only saw two with such titles in the ton of movies you've linked us with on the forums.

More power to you though. Its commendable for a man to maintain such a meticulous collection for the benefit of others even after you've seen the movies yourself. Very selfless.

I no longer trust HDD enough to store so much again.

Deleted over 600GB of pron recently. Yes, you read that right.

...but it was only to make space for NEW pron.

I used too do this... until i got fed up of burning, and transferring videos and game ISOs (for friends and family).

Now i just watch/play and delete (although it feels weird hitting that delete key, after doing the klepto thing for years)

lmao!!! hoss, i download most of my movies/tv shows in either 720 or 1080 and it eh come nowhere close to 30tb. that is the very definition of overkill.
