Boy after you show me this last night I do all kinda searching and browsing but couldn't resist for the price and sniped it. Took almost all the last setta money on mih VTM so was real deciding what I want crossed off the wishlist.

That deal...isnt so full of win. +$19 shipping making that $370 when a viewsonic on the same site is $300 with free shipping.

yes it's worth it in my experience...

shipping for 23-24" come up to be around 250-300 when i've bought. Guess you could use that as a gauge

VERY worth it.

Depending on the model, you can save almost 1000TT (vs local store price)
bringing it in yourself.

That very Samsung monitor Crixx posted, (I recently imported one) cost nearly 3700 TT in Circuit Zone.
Total price after importation (including all shipping and fees)... 2662 TT.

The only advantage buying local gives you is the warranty, although some
stores will tell you '...well there's a manufacturer's warranty. Check them nah...'
when your stuff fails. Go figure.

...and Captain Awesome knows not of what he speaks. The so-called 'Viewsonic
on the same site' cannot, in any way, shape or form, compare to that Samsung,
but don't take my word for it. Check the specs yourself.

Just adding to what Arcman said, I brought in this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001LYPNFQ/ref=oss_product down in May last year.

It's a 25.5 inch ASUS monitor, has VGA, HDMI and DVI connectors. Has a 2ms response time and works quite well. You can check out more detailed specs about it on Newegg but the reason why I listed some specs is so you can compare what I got for the price paid as opposed to buying one locally.

Now I got it for $267.54us at that time and paid 588TT to get it in my hands from UPXpress.

So that's roughly 2298TT I paid for that monitor. Is it worth it??? Of course it is worth it!!!

Well unless you somehow get a pissed off customs officer that thinks your monitor is really a tv then that might suck lol. Go brave and buy a monitor online, buy eeeeeet!!!

Only drawback is a DOA/ warranty which we ballzy internet buyers take the risk with shopping online. We piss in the face of danger and fart down their throats lol.
