Modifying PS3 in Trinidad
« on: June 15, 2009, 03:46:56 PM »
My PS3 is fleckin up rell bad. Last summer it stopped reading disks all together. It was still under warranty so i got it 'fixed'. But over the last few months it has been 'stickin' in the middle of games(Fifa 09, CoD4, LBP, RB2). I thought it mite be a HDD problem but games on my HDD give no problem at all. I have a strong suspicion it is the disk reader. Seeing as I am out of warranty(and money for d most part), i was wondering if anyone has any solutions for me. The only one i can think of is to 'mod' my PS3, but I don't know where or how. Any advice?

Good point bluvice.
We really have to only consider less than 10gb games tops and I guess that's what Sony been doing.

killzone 2 controls suck anyways!

this right here is d classic excuse cod scrubs use wen they not good at a game.
sick an tired of hearing cod men say d controls suck

1st of all d game is NOT cod so dont attempt to play this or any other game like cod

2nd jus bcuz d game takes more skill an hav more realistic physics doh mean d game/controls suck (especially since they added d new High Precision controls for u cod men)

3rd get good or stick to n00b friendly games like cod or hopscotch

you're so passionate man. relax. I do not like the controls and I am entitled to my opinion. I like the controls in just about all other 1st person shooters I have played. GT4 and burnout are two different driving games but I still think they both have excellent controls. games on the whole are nooby cuz they are not the real thing. I dont mind being a noob in your virtual world because it counts for nothing and I play for fun. Dont take this gaming thing so seriously. It's just a game.

hissy fit

noun. A sudden outburst of temper, often used to describe female anger at something trivial. Originally regional from American South. Thought to originate from contraction of "hysterical fit."
She threw a hissy fit when she found out the last pair of shoes had been sold.

repairs? if anywhere in TnT can repair it plz let me noe. Cuz rite now I am selling mi iPod and a PS3 controller to help raise the money to buy a new PS3. Also, which PS3 is least susceptible to the "code of death" cuz I get that seems to be the problem with my PS3. But from what I've read the 80010514 error seems to a firmware problem affecting the HDD. So I dont even know if replacing the HDD will help. SO any advice ppl?

Zero Media

They were robbed on saturday of all their systems (or so I heard) so I don't think that they'll be doing repairs atm.
