I already have an AM2+ motherboard.  A MSI K9A2-CF, which I'm currently using with
an AM3 CPU.

If you want, I could offer that motherboard to you as a trade for your Gigabyte board.
Of course, I'll pay the difference.

That way, you can get a board that can use that X4 with your DDR2 RAM (I updated it to the latest BIOS),
and I can also have a board that uses my X3.

I was thinking the SDT... but then i'd still have to cough up the difference and unlike you, get DDR3... I NEED my internal organs so saving ftw!
