Just got back from seeing this. Twas better than expected. A good, fun popcorn movie. I'd expected something on the level of Clash of the Titans from the reviews I read but this was better. Only loosely based on the game though. Even so I think this will be considered the best live-action movie to be based on a game, considering how enjoyable it was compared to other game adaptations.
I even saw some elements from Assassin's Creed in this movie lol

Overall - 7.5/10

It was entertaining, but not worth the money. That being said, there was some nice platforming and they didn't rely too heavily on bad cgi. It's a disney movie, what else can I say?

One sure sign that I enjoyed a movie is if I dont have to fight off sleep at one point or another.

My expectations were neutral and I was fairly satisfied with it. I thought the main characters played their roles quite nicely. They were very believable and did a good job of reprising the roles of their digital counterparts. I could have done with a tad more of the Prince's monkey shenanigins and they should have made Nazim, Vizer whatever speak more sinister like, give him the hat thingy and the cane. Princess was perfect, mmmmmm, mmmmm u know in real life she is my age I wonder what can happen there.

The writers paid more than adequate homage to the game without sticking to the game's script like a tick on a cow's bottom. I liked it, good story, good show. Definitely one of the best video game adaptations ive seen.

I saw you making your exit awesome. Was driving through MovieTowne at the same time and thinking to myself...wtmc awesome doing here? I hope is not sex and the city 2 he come to watch. lol

Definitely going to see the prince on the big screen this week myself.

big fan

on a side note, just watched disney's Aladdin last night with the kids, the original....and it is so very similar to Prince of Persia. No wonder Disney would want to snap this one up.

Definitely the best video game adaptation to date.

A firm 9 Grains of Sand out of 10

Movie had proper pace, good character development, awesome special effects and just enough drama and romance.

It would have been perfect if not for the last fight scene. It was like they ran out of steam/choreography.

All the time the prince performing acrobatics that would make a Chinese Olympic gold medalist blush...yet in that last sequence, he's struggling to pull himself up off a ledge. steups.

That aside, excellent excellent movie.

Well...
Spoiler (hover to show)
Besides... That's the second half of Brokeback Mountain on screen, not Dominique Dawes, lol.

I agree in that so far, it looks like the best game-to-movie adaptation to date... Until the new MK movie gets made.  :sassy:
