I haven't had internet access for the past two days.
So, unable to play Bad Company 2, I finished Awakening.
Overall, it was fairly short and not as epic as the main game.
However it was very enjoyable nonetheless. My favorite area on the map was probably the Blackmarsh.
I finished the main game with a Dalish Elf Rogue (primarily an archer) with Ranger and Bard specializations. I chose the new Shadow specialization in the expansion but by the time I made up my mind to choose it the game was more or less over so I didn't really check it out lol.
The new Archery chain of talents in the expansion just kicks ass. In the main game archers were probably the least powerful class...now with this new set of talents they got seriously deadlier.
Here are the new archery talents:
Rain of Arrows - This talent is awesomesauce man. Shoots a bazillion arrows into the sky, raining death onto a group of enemies.
Accuracy - Use this...ALWAYS. This makes your every shot about as powerful as an Arrow of Slaying!
Arrow Time - Think bullet time...except using arrows =]
Burst Shot - Fires a burst of arrows at a target, with each arrow doing crit damage.
The bows I used were:
Misery - bought from the city inn
Heartwood Bow - crafted by Master Wade
Justice was the tank, wearing that AWESOME Sentinel Armor and using Vigilance (forged by Master Wade)

Raining Death
It says "No Effect", because silly Anders tried to use lightning on teh lightning dragon.
We were unsure of how to take down Armored Ogre. However Sigrun, who faced these beasts before in the Deep Roads in her time with the Legion, said she learned that *one* particular area of the ogre was left exposed and vulnerable. We watched in awe as she lunged at the surprised brute's loin area...and CHEWED. Horrifyingly, even after it was dead, she just kept on chewing.
"It's dead", we told her, "stop"
"It's a good thing I became a Warden", she said, "my blood was surely tainted from using this tactic"
We never looked at her the same after that.
