I dont know how to judge their expansion. Their dungeons are about 2-3 hours max, which I would pay about 5-6 US for. Thats about it. If its 40 bucks it has to be an extra 20 hours gameplay

Nice to see Alistair still around.

I've seen expansions fetch full price. I expect heavy content, just like the Starcraft Broodwar expansion. As well as the countless Spellforce and WarHammer Dawn of War expansions.

Right now I playing on nightmare (first play through :S) and wow this game is hard......I basically have to control every action of every party member in order to keep from using too much items and also to stay alive. Mobs are ridiculous :/ especially in Denerim, dey send out a HUGE patrol for me cuz i stealing from d nobles steups...but i beat it after some holy smites and blizzards and gylphs of warding and howling :S. Ser Cauthrian battle........impossible went to jail for dat cuz i had no more health poultices and mainly cuz Ser Cauthrian is a beast. So far I assemble my armies and right now I tryin to rescue some elves from d alienage. Dis game just rel bad and ADDICTING, I need help..........

Hmm well yes...nightmare....lol...goodluck with that.....lol
this is one of the hardest game i ever come across for the longest while....after the first ninja Gaiden for xbox

I finally finished the game too...i must say the story line was real "thief Head" it got real intresting at the point where u meet at the Lands meet was real drama from there and then you gotta hit the sack with another hero to save the world, cuda swear i was playin a "young an restless" game..i was like wtmc..hahahaha...i took that road actually

In all honesty the storyline was kinda "bogus" if you really think about it, BUT i will definately give them props for actually developing it real good to a point where it seems so original, intresting an worth playin.

And also i ended up with ah set of useless stuff in my inventory that i didnt even use or know what to do with them.

Ok i beat d game today on nightmare yay (i didnt change the difficulty at all :S). Also ended up with alot of money and useless items etc and i ended up using like 10 poisons per blade to kill the archdemon lol. D kinda ting dey wanted me to d in d end.....drama boy....morrigan left me

Honestly I dont think that the end boss was that hard, the hardest times i had in this game was the revenants (at lower levels of course), Ser Cauthrien to point where i take prison instead, a few random encounters with HUGE amounts of enemies that i was not prepared for :S but in reality every step i took in that game i felt like i was gonna get killed

lol, yeah, I had to get real friendly with that F5 quick save feature from about 50 hours in.

Before that, I was unkillable (took Shiv advice and bought out healing poultices from every shop I could find, lol)

Ser Cauthrien was VERY hard to beat but I wasn't about to make jail. Lihixxxxxxxxxx ismc.

A spider boss caught me off guard in the dwarf deep roads and gave a hard time. Had like zero potions and was stress keeping wynne alive to heal.

lol i didnt ment bogus inna bad way...its jus that at times it left u like "wtmc going here, all that dramas?" kinda way...but it was really worked an was different and wat made it more intrestin is that u had real influence on how the story-line goes. i doh think i every played a game with so much desicions to make so concerning that...

fuh real. The decisions were some damn difficult ones too.

None were "easy". Real moral grey ground yes. My hats off to the script writers.

Well, I see Awakening is out; anyone grabbed it yet?

I kept DA:O installed for this expansion but I'm now seeing it's standalone xD
However your character from DA:O can be used in Awakening.
