apparently Amazon sale info has been leaked here:

Good to compare against steam in case you can snag a better deal from the online retail giant.

Has amazon digital downloads cleared Trinidad of region lock? if not then this is a waste.

Once you can actually get the code from elsewhere, redeeming it on Steam is not an issue, regardless of the game's region.

Buying a region-locked game directly from Steam, however could present some problems.

Check what billing address you're using when attempting to make these purchases.
If it's a local address it won't work, use your Skybox address instead.
Once you're using a US billing address there should be no issues.

Well Final Fantasy VII is finally on steam and already on the #1 spot as a top seller.

It has been a good day for old RPG remakes. Baldur's Gate is also showing strong on the charts

Was hoping for some sort of revamped graphics on FFVII as they claim it has been optimized for modern PCs, however from online accounts, it appears to be the same dated graphics from the original release, just with higher resolution support.

Still, if this goes on sale for a $1.00, I'll pick it up for nostalgia.

Check these ground breaking, optimized for modern PCs graphics:
