Was recently browsing through the store and came upon this little gem...

Did some research and found out that this is actually the PC version of IL2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey,
that was released on consoles in late 2009.

You can download a pretty healthy demo from here.
Pretty nice game. Great visuals, but make sure you play this one with a gamepad/joystick.

The flight model tends towards the simulation (even on the 'arcade' setting), so n00b pilots need not apply.

Buying this one fo sho.

33.75 a pop... though I already own Bioshock 1 on the 360.. so it's not nearly as attractive to me... if it was 20USD I was DERE though.

That's why BEFORE you purchase always check the listed supported OS. Even if Vista is there, once Win 7 NOT, i'd stay away unless you dual booting or have another gaming rig on XP. As I see it, the OLD titles run on the newest platform because they prolly recompile and test on the latest platforms. It's easy, CHEAP and less involving. When you have NEW titles with new more complicated tech, recompiling and working out bugs takes time. It's common sense imho.

Tell me something, if you're alergic to seafood, do you go to a restaurant that sells ALL kinds of food and buy shrimp? unless you have a deathwish OF COURSE NOT. Why would you go on steam and buy a game that isn't listed as supporting the OS you're running?

Well then, you shouldn't complain about purchasing it now if yuh KNEW it wasn't listed as supported but bought it anyways. Besides, just run a dual boot if anys.

in other words. it not listed in the avaliable games (steam prob only get NA release)

bioshock 2 is listed however

5750..nothing epic...gonna replace my dad's rig 88gt that went recently...

from what i've seen the 5750 is a worthy replacement @ a pretty decent price point...also it'll make my dad's rig a good back up gaming machine...and since his machine MUST use XP...bioshock going on that and i hadda run it back out before i run 2
