yes. the party with the cc can purchase the item and choose to purchase it for themselves or gift it to another person when your purchasing the game the option comes up right under the check out area in the basket thingy

if you wanna buy it for someone choose gift even if they dont have a steam account it's fine, the email will contain instructions

Sent out three invitations via Steam to try out Shattered Horizon. Its valid till December 16th 2009.

Its a real blast to play, once you've figured out the controls. I will admit, zero-g combat takes some getting used to,
as everywhere can be 'up'

, so yeah, there IS a bit of a learning curve).

At least, you're getting a chance for a legit 'beta test'.

...and as its from Futuremark, you KNOW your graphics card will be getting a workout, so make sure the cooling fan wukkin.

Give it a try, and tell me what you think.

...oh yeah and it runs on dedicated servers.

^ Follow up on Arcman's post, there is a competition about to start in about a 1 day and 17 hours with this game Shattered Horizon. There are 4 prizes that seem to be recycled over 4 periods so that's like an extra chance to win stuff.

Now seeing that not many ppl play this game I am sure that I can win some one of those damned prizes

Yea it's quite a bit to get used to at first but you have to fire in bursts and get your flight controls down heheh.
