Now I don't have a console yet but have been looking at the offerings.

What y'all think about this one?? Seems like it's a PS3 exclusive

LoL, Arc you real like crap eh but yea they're starting to deliver on awesomeness in terms of games on the PS3 so once again I am puzzled as to what I should get late down this year.

Apprentice boy I aint know nah, Killzone2 is boss but xbox live cannot be overlooked and plus chinara may castrate me if I go buy a PS3 lol

infamous mekin me feel to buy ah PS3 dread... My only concern rite now is whether i could get ah VGA output and optical out for it..

Yea ps3 supports optical audio output.
As for VGA, there are hdmi to VGA conversion cables... Bit pricey..

cyah deny d powers in proto tho it baad thas why i gettin both i not buyin proto for d story lol

proto is being made by d same guys who made d hulk games an while d destruction in those games are good story sucked so forgive me for thinkin d story wont be better than infamous own

noooooooooooooo LOL

The prototype demo does have the hulk style gameplay. The story however goes into demonology and wrath of god and crap...so believe me...the story is something that drives that game.

Well I was pretty excited for this game but after playing the demo I don't think I'm gonna buy this again.

The gameplay felt very repetitive and uninspired.

Graphically the main character models looks good, the city looks okay nothing really awe inspiring but this game has some of the worst aliasing on PS3. This seems to be a problem with a lot of PS3 games. There really are few PS3 games that have good anti aliasing (MGS4 prob the best). Nothing stands out to me in graphics like jaggies. This is one area where I've notice the 360 ports have much better image quality.

Maybe this is a case like Uncharted where the demo did not impress but I loved the full game.

What were your demo impressions?

I think the mission choices for the demo were not thy great hence the repetitiveness.
An everyhing was a bit jaggy.
I felt the potential though. Everything is there and can work. A restricted demo is not justice. So I most likely still will get it.

The camera is a problem for me. I normally play a third-person game with both axes inverted. However, when aiming, I only invert the vertical axis. I cannot play any other way.
I like how MGS3/4 allow for individual camera option setting to cater to everyone's comfortability and it would be expected that all games of the sort would follow suit in giving the freedom of options. That's the main obstacle against me enjoying this game....(however I did cater to that by not using R3 during movement, instead I kept holding L1 throughout most of the demo).
I also dislike being restricted to a certain area ("Abandoning Mission").

Nevertheless, Infamous looks to be a promising title still. I like the gameplay (when I'm ignoring my camera flops) and I do feel the immense power the character has.
I'm wondering if Prototype may have a greater impact with this Super-Hero action genre, from what I've seen in its gameplay trailers.
