Aight, I'm a self taught/taught by pops player. Don't really know much notes but I can listen to stuff and play it.

I like nylon since steel slices through my fingers. I hope you're prepared for that or get a amp unless you have sandpaper hands lol.

But yea steel has a certain sound and so does nylon. Pops nylon guitar is so old it's not funny and has a certain tone that you can't buy in a store. Just find what sound you like and get it man.
Glad u liked the sig lol

Electric is easy and fun.
Yeah im self taught too and my hand hard lol. First day i touch a steel i play it normal after like 20 mins then after 1hr i cry :( lol
It wasnt half bad as I expected. About the amp though getting  a semi is just an investment so when i get the money for the amp well lol I would already have a semi.
Nice to see so many guitar players here! GNight sleep :D

if you can't afford an amp immediately, then go for the Instrument > PC solution. I have the Line 6 Toneport GX so I can practise late into the night, but I see it's no longer available, so they offer the POD Studio GX as the current version.

...I also have a 1976 SIlverface 65' Deluxe Reverb to Gig with. :happy0203:

And regarding all the talk about hurtin fingers, they grow calluses quickly! so it'll stop being a nag inno time! :icon_pirat:

Damn, I gave my $400 Palmer to my nephew just last year. He's 8 yrs old.
I have two electrics, a Squier that I bought about 2 yrs ago and a Dean Vendetta that I got last yr for my bday. The sad part is that there are long gaps between my playing so I pretty much have to start back from scratch every coupe times I pick them up.

:O Oh gosh doh do me that....It look bess but how does it play / feel :(
Sigh guitars make anyone else here weak?

feels, plays, awesome...
Friends who got their little band, when they come over could never put my baby down lol.
and I LOVE the sound of steel strings over nylon.
Was one of the main reasons I went steel first.

I am not afraid to play steel. Pops has a steel string acoustic  that I play, I just like nylon ftw well until a amp is bought for the steel string :P
