Anyone got any 1GB DDR400 SO-DIMM (200 pin) to spare?

Need two to upgrade a laptop for a friend, so they can run Vista (512MB is definitely not going to cut it with Vista)

DDR333 PC2700 is also cool, if no one got the faster speed chips.

I got a DDR333 PC-2700 but its 256MB....(i doubt that would do)

It would be very difficult to get that capacity in laptop RAM for that price, you'll have to hope that someone had put in 2x1GB sticks inside a laptop a lil while back and not using it anymore....and those who have them, won't sell them for cheap most likely because it's hard to come by.

Sad to say, but I think you'll most likely have to order it, and it would come up to a bit more than $200 a stick then. Talk to Sax, a 1GB DDR-400 SODIMM is about $55 US on Crucial's site, he may be able to give u an estimate to bring it in, if nothing else.
