I've been watchin a bunch of really old kungfu movies starting with enter the dragon, and moving to other like drunken master. I watched this one years ago and remembered this scene awhile ago as well. the fight itself is classic but the part I want to draw your attention to starts around 7:55

The IJF people said that its become anti good judo.
Too many people just dashing for your ankles and legs without trying to practice good judo,leaving their necks and backs open too much, something that has transferred from bjj and wrestling.
So you can only go for legs as a counter or a combination.

The combinations make it fun so iam not complaining.
They also trying to clamp down on wrestling influencing Judo as well, to many throws being executed by just overpowering and slamming.

I dont mind the wrestling thing, except it again leaves you too open for chokes

Aye Invincible armour was real dread, I hadda get that movie back yes. My bro-in-law had us watch it and I realize how much I missed these old school kungfu movies.



But I will have to take in IP man, need to see some kick ups

You know...for all Hollywood's big, gaudy flashiness, and overpaid actors, and big-budget special effects,
them muhfuggas STILL cannot make a kung-fu/martial arts movie as good as the Chinese.

Over the last few decades, they've really perfected their art.  We want big-budget special fx...America.
We want highly stylised, kickazz anime...Japan.

For all things live-action martial arts, though...China is STILL the best at it.  Others are catching up,
but they not quite there yet.
