Things to do in Trinidad & Tobago
« on: April 04, 2009, 10:29:03 PM »
You're a citizen of Trinidad & Tobago. Tell me, what can you do on this island?

Things you've done or are doing that you can recommend to others from personal experience!

1 post, 1 activity.

I'll start.

Dragon Boat Racing:

Usually held @ chaguaramas. Basically a team of 18 to 22 persons man a long boat with a dragon's head at the front and paddly synchronously to victory! A drummer sits at the front of the boat to aid in the synchronization and a steer-er at the back to keep the vessel on course.

Teams are usually on the look out for a good pair of arms. Events are held about three times a year. Training is typically on a Sunday morning.

Better be able to swim as these boats have been known to capsize while racing and it can be a long swim back to sure (with boat in tow).

I'll go next...

How about car window tint removal:

Held all over the country, at varying times of day (and night I'm told) to catch you off guard.
Held under the watchful eyes of local babylon (police) and 'lysunsing' officers.

Make sure to have that razor blade on hand, and a piece of paper to hold it with so you won't cut yourself. :)

lol, Teri indeed. Forever Bess. Kees is a blessed man to have run through that piece of pudding perfection.

Threw some waist on that in Tribe 2008. (never washed that pants, lol)

The next generation of bess is being represented by Jade, featured in about three of those pix w1ntry posted. The girl omnipresent for carnival. Modeling for about three different bands.

Gams to die for, if you're a legs man. Look no further than Jade Lee Loy (thank me later)

hahhaha @ gaping demotivational

Definitely a good addition to the "things to do in Trinidad" thread.

All the big carnival bands use over models, i have a really good friend who did work for Spice, Tribe and Island People, and it still have more band launches to come.... btw, i paid down on my costume for next year already, playing with Harts this time
Cool flick, Jade models for all but plays in harts, teri is a Tribe girl, Candice also plays with harts. All these women have men though XD but still eye candy is eye candy.

Definitely a higher standard of video than we see some other local up and coming artists (or jamaican for that matter) put out these days. I expect them to go real far.
