I heard is more that they're doubling it so the fastest connection on the island is going to be 200mb.

So i have quite a few people complaining about Flow again. During the day they seem to be throttling upload speeds making online games unplayable. Anyone getting any issues?

Steups in guess they are still tuning the network after the upgrades. Once it working at night time I good yes.

Could they do a speedtest at the time of the issue and post?

Haven't noticed anything odd of recent myself. Smooth sailing so far.

I could do a test at the same time and compare results.

Speed test results show up fine but games are still unplayable. This was happening a couple months ago. With MMO's at least.

Just thought you should know that this was never resolved for me. I still need to use Battleping and WTFast to get by my MMO's to be playable. Personally I don't expect great things from Flow anymore I take w/e i can get now

Well I don't play any MMOs, so maybe that is why I have never seen this issue.

Dota 2 and Battlefield 4 work fine ping wise.

Will be difficult to figure out if the speedtest results are fine. Not sure what could be causing the issue specific to MMOs.

I got a call yesterday from Flow saying that my connection was being moved over to a new core that would provide superior troubleshooting options.

They maybe able to get to the bottom of this sort of unusual problem if your friend is placed on that system as well.

That happens when you have too many porn torrents active simultaneously (or so I've been told).

Or so you've been told. Yeah right. Flow randomly throttles torrent traffic a far as I can tell which explains why that is happening.

...and yeah, unfortunately Flow engages in some 'packet-shaping' from time to time.
