my guess right now is that you have a signaling/power issue on the down and upstream. Check the power levels from the status page. I bet the power levels for upstream is greater than 53dBmV

When you tried moving the modem around your home, did you also try connecting it directly to the first point where the cable comes into your home, depending on how they ran the cable this could be ground level or through your roof. You need to try to get to this point as this will allow me rule out if any of your splitters are to blame, as we will be bypassing them all.

Sounds like solid advice. I remember being told to place my modem at that point as well for best performance. To avoid the splitters and such.

well the upstream power level is 46.25 and downstram power levels on average are 36...but im unsure exactly where the splitters are...is it inside the flow box thing(grey box) is it likely that there are just 4 seperate cables coming from this box into the house and no splitters being present? Ill still check though where i can hook up the modem to bypass these splitters

Would think with those errors in your log the signal would be to high, but from what you just posted everything seems to be within a more than decent range and you should not be having any problems.

Let me ask you how is your TV and Voice service if you also get them from flow, When did you notice the problem and were there any significant events that occurred prior to the problem.

Tv is fine but we have the flow voice plan but dont really use it..this problem is going on for more than 6 months but got even worse when we got the new 15mb plan wit the huge ass modem...that as far as i can remember but flow tech switched the modem 4 times but the problem stayed the same (although with this one it is the absolute WORST....limited or no connectivity every 35 seconds average but the modem doesnt restart itself at all like the previous ones)...my landline is tstt however and we have an unsolvable problem with the phone were there is constant static...and can only be cleared by flashing the phone multiple times...
*sigh*

what about your neighbours are they also experiencing the same issues, if not can you get one to loan you there modem for 15-20 mins to see if the issue repeats with their modem, you can also do the opposite also.

got even worse when we got the new 15mb plan wit the huge ass modem...

Wait...are you saying you have the new modem??

Well sir, I have the fix for you.....ask for your old modem back....the original one...not the New model.

I had the EXACT same problem when I first upgraded to the 15mb package.

Got them to give me back my original modem and it worked just fine and yes....you still get the 15mb speed.

Yeah, something was definitely wrong.  I ended up watching *gasp* 'regular' TV.   :laughing7:

...and I'm glad I did, because I got to see Obama on The Daily Show.

As is the case, Flow is... iffy for regular browsing and even netflix by me... and of late even gaming i've been getting at least 1-2 disconnects whilst in-game regularly now... overall not bad, but i'm seeing new 'bugs' that didn't occur when I first got the service.
