well remember, the server you're downloading from has to be able to offer that sort of speed as well.

In my case, I was downloading team fortress 2 to another machine at home.

You tend to get epic speeds from steam. They have blistering fast servers to distribute their games.

give that a try and see

I've gotten my full speed on Steam as well as torrents. With torrents you may have to fiddle with some settings on the client but it'll work. Only thing weird is around midnight my streaming is slower but not snail slow just slower than usual. Still no complaints from me.

I use Vuze to torrent and I'm always fighting up with the TCP and UDP ports. I could never find the proper port to use. Any suggestions anyone. If I get the 15Mb/s through torrents I'll seriously go wild and buy out Western Digital.

Have you tried any other torrent clients, checked firewalls and PF. Any port outside of 1-1024 should do the trick. What i do is use upnp and the randomize port option.

SO... I have yet another complaint against FLOW. That banner seriously needs to be taken down off this website cuz right now its false advertising.

At exactly 6:00 PM till 2:00 AM every day for the last few days, MANY people on Flow have been experiencing drastic lag in games like WoW and GW2.

I gettin cuss from friends who i convinced to get the 15 mb package only to now be hampered while playing their games. It's ridiculous. Many of them called tech support and Flow will not admit to bandwidth throttling or anything along those lines, but nothing else can explain people on Flow, NATION WIDE, are gettin the exact same problem at the exact same time for the last few days.

Mr. Wyatt, i do request you contact your people and find out what this the problem with this else i forsee Flow losing customers very soon
I posted about this same issue right herehttp://www.carigamers.com/cms/forums/index.php?topic=27641.0

Just use a program called battleping and you should be alright, that's what i use to fix it even though i shouldn't HAVE too but there is not much you can do when Flow doesn't want to admit its there fault

Yea rebirth that's what i've been using but still as you said. We should not need to use programs to get our games to run properly =/

Flow speeds ripping up again.

Really need to find out if they did an upgrade on the sly.

This is what I got sustained while downloading Dragon Age II

More than the maximum speed and it pretty much is constant right through.

impressive

Virtue and Rebirth have you guys gotten your lines tested by a flow technician, it could be that the cables or a splitter has degraded just enough that it is affecting your Interent.

Have you alos tried swapping out the current modem with a new know working modem, even the modems of a friends who's internet is working the way it should be.

You can also check the area you and the people are affected maybe it just a localized problem and you all as a collective group should write TTAT, that usually gets things going.

Yea, our Flow assigned techs (XpiderG or Cassidy) should be able to help with those tests if they haven't spoken to them already.

I doubt its a cable degradation issue, XBL works fine on said connection, so too do other services. I find it odd that Guild Wars 2 would start to lag and basically become unuseable when i'm happily fragging away on XBL AT the EXACT same time... also torrents run like crap for me too in central save when I encrypt the traffic then it improves. Bandwidth isn't the issue, QoS/traffic management/content management is what fits the bill.

1) My line was tested within the last 6 months as i got the Turbo 15 package. It is not only me who is gettin the problem but multiple people in different areas (south, central, east and pos) that i play GW2 with.
,
2) The modem is almost new as it is the wireless one that came with the turbo 15 package. My friends who also took the turbo 15 package, got it alot more recently than i did and are gettin issues as well.

3) Other people in my area are having issues browsing time to time but my concern is with WoW and GW2 instata lag at 6pm on the dot.

Im having alot of trouble with my Flow connection guys....Coming to a year now..we have had very intermittent service.....either the router would restart itself or no lights would change and we would get no internet for around 20 seconds...then it would be up for a minute and then that cycle would repeat itself. 4 technicians have came by us...First one tightened the coaxial cable at the back saying that would fix it ( LOL...) and last 3 just changed the modem( cuz changing it the third time would solve it? :S)..

i have called them over 20 times and some people on the line are simply useless promising to call back after monitoring the situation when they wont and some are just plain incompetent....most on the phone tech has checked my signal and said all signals are looking good and also one of the techs went up on the pole and said everything was fine as well as the splitters being changed.. this has been stumping me for a long time now as i cant play any game online really cuz it always signs me out of PSN before i get to do anything really :/.... right now a tehnician is scheduled to come on the 10th to try fix the problem but does anybody here have this problem? Or does any one know why this could be happening? it's really annoying g..can't play any games or watch videos really...

probably a line issue, have you tried moving it around your house. The best spot is if you can disconnect it from where it comes into your home and connect the modem directly to that line, sometimes it's just a bad/faulty splitter that causes most problems.

Report back with your findings and ill see what else i can think of.

Been having a lot of issues with flow for the last three weeks. The signal seems to be coming in really week. It cant work with a router, only connected directly to a pc. It works for about 10 seconds through the router and then cuts off. I called and they say the signals are high and they need a technician to come but they have yet to schedule that.

I had this same problem where it would work properly in only some parts of the house due to a faulty splitter, but since it's not working anywhere it could be a backend issue. If can you access the webUI for the modem at 192.168.100.1, try accessing the ip during startup of the modem, access the log page and print screen what you see there.
