I have no quams about switching since it is working ,it works as its supposed to, BUT, lately i've been getting spikes in my connection, random downtime, and its quite annoying. Unfortunately i can say that i actually never had any major issues with blink other than those odd occasions when settings in the modem itself changed on its on and had to reset it.

WHAT??? like you have short term memory loss... You forget a time the blink service went down for 2+  MONTHS! AND D MCS still charged we for the service! We had to refuse payment until they rectified the CREDIT  they owed us for those 2 months AND it Would have taken longer if I hadn't engaged tatt! Bwdmc blink service no complaints my #insert long list of expletives here #

Haven't played any online in a while to see but otherwise dl's and streaming have been fine with no downtimes in my part of central.  Blink used to go down at critical moments (during work on assignments) for days even.

Yup, pretty much didn't get through, on another note, I did get through before 7am though and well... yes it IS down and yes they know of the problem but due to inclement weather (of which central is suprisinly unscathed by) I may be without service until tomorrow... :*(

The "game without lag" ad on this site by Flow is borderline false advertisement. Their service has seriously deteriorated for the above mentioned purpose over the last couple years.

Lucky for them, 90% of their customers arent interested in gaming so they have no incentive to do a damn thing about it.

Never thought I'd say this, but thank GOD for tstt. If it wasnt for them I would have to do without online gaming, something I just cannot fathom.

The only thing worse than their pings is their customer service. I generally feel like i'm begging a favour anytime im on the phone with them...until I realise that im paying them. Corporate service is not much better either!

while i agree FULLY with what you say i can't fathom using Tstt again...they dropped sometimes 3 times a day and seems to be unstable...where as flow's ping is horrendous especially with consideration of online MMO's adding a 5 second delay to everything...however i prefer use a program called battle ping and pay 5USD a month and have a stable connection with a much more reasonable ping then be dropping connection at random times during gameplay

This here is to show mileage may vary, my experience on Flow had been 10x better than tstt, latency and bandwidth wise. Gaming online on xbl is VERY consistent and connections to US servers are good. I play predominantly fps COD, bf3, some gears and its more than fine.

I actually have to agree with W1nTry here.
I've had a great experience with FLOW so far, after switching from TSTT after 4years.
The only problem i face with FLOW is the obvious p2p port blocked, meaning some torrents don't ever get good speeds, and certain games may have issues (which are usually remedied with some port forwarding, or other setting configurations).

SO... I have yet another complaint against FLOW. That banner seriously needs to be taken down off this website cuz right now its false advertising.

At exactly 6:00 PM till 2:00 AM every day for the last few days, MANY people on Flow have been experiencing drastic lag in games like WoW and GW2.

I gettin cuss from friends who i convinced to get the 15 mb package only to now be hampered while playing their games. It's ridiculous. Many of them called tech support and Flow will not admit to bandwidth throttling or anything along those lines, but nothing else can explain people on Flow, NATION WIDE, are gettin the exact same problem at the exact same time for the last few days.

Mr. Wyatt, i do request you contact your people and find out what this the problem with this else i forsee Flow losing customers very soon

lag is never good

Bring out the spanish inquisition!

I'm sure our two dedicated GATT-Flow technical reps can sort it out. Cassidy and Xpider_G

Lets send them the relevent user account info and see if they can monitor the connections during "rush hour".

Just tested my connection and its moving along at max speed and this is a typical heavy usage period. Clocking 15Mb/s on a download as we type.

Will keep an eye on it.

I also have the 15Mb/s Package - but I never see speeds as you've quoted above.
More or Less 15exact on a download :S ?

Max I've seen is 3Mb/s
What am I doing wrong ?

Linksys Router connected to the Flow Modem - and PC wired to the Linksys. (Basic)

SpeedTest reads as 14.65Mb/s Down.

Maybe a port forwarding issue ?
