Now that Flow's World is done, can we 'unhide' this thread?

After all that...there goes my internet...and just when I'm about to go on vacation too. Aint THAT a bitch.

...and I actually have to wait till the 29th before they send someone. Wooptee-do.

I had better be getting a f@#king rebate.

lol, well I think you have the wrong approach, of trying to embarass them into action.

Instead, ask one of our friends at flow to expedite the repair.

I'm certain you've met one of the network support team over our three day stint? If not, I can ask Robin to point us in the right direction for a quick fix!

and Woody, yeah the website has been going back and forth between slow and extremely fast.

Investigating. Traffic has increased but also, a google bot was crawling over the site. Trying to optimize so neither has such an impact again.

This is what I've been getting for the past week

Those are also "off peak" speedtests. Downloads from servers that were pushing a steady 2000kb/s are now going @ 60kb/s.
Also at random moments in the day, all the lights on my flow modem will turn off (except for the last 2) causing a stall in internet service for about 5 seconds, then all the lights turn back on and internet resumes where it left off o_O.

Anyone else getting these issues?
Seems flow can't handle these packages at all, at least in my area.
I mean, if you're offering 100mbps connection, I understand if a customer on that connection getting about 80mbps... but I mean, every lower package SHOULD get their max line speeds due to there being a higher package... LAWWDD...

If flow continue like this, they will easily grab all of TSTT bad rep. Over 2 months on the competing network here and smooth sailing so far.

These are my results just now.

They look fine and I haven't had any connection issues.

The only thing is that youtube and torrents still run much slower than you'd expect for a 5mb.

That's the problem with both networks, they are very inconsistent in terms of service. While one person may be getting nice speeds on Flow/Tstt their are others getting shaft at the same time lol.

I wonder if it's like T&TECs load shedding? Where they just move the trouble spots around? lol

I'll see if we can get a flow rep to investigate and at least give us some answers.

^^ If you lucky, they'll say that they know just the person who is an expert in the matter and THEN proceed to give you the ghost...if youre lucky.

I think they should sell their internet services division to somebody more serious and stick to event planning, co-ordination and marketing because it seems thats the only thing they like to get just right. Customer service be damned and delivering actual decent service can hold on to the muffler, dragging on the ground behind the bus.

lolz, today has been much better compared to the past week, HD youtube and gametrailers was streaming. 2000kb/s from adobe site.
But ping has been 170ms to miami , 200 to NYC etc.. :/

Tell your friend that you have a next friend who is very disappointed in them, make me switch back the the dark side because of flow incompetence.
